She is almost always seen carrying a red and golden bow.
Personality
Alignment: Neutral Good
She is a very quiet and calm person. She watches people from afar trying to get a feel for them without actually speaking with them before she interacts with them.
She is hard to anger for any race, but is untrusting of any outside her own kind.
She doesn't often find other races -interesting- like many others do, but rather she looks at the individual. She would rather know why someone became an Argent rather than what it's like living as an Orc for example.
Also at the mention of Silvermoon, she will ask that the other member of the conversation not mention it again.
History
Maulaina was born just a couple years after her sister Sina. Her mother and father spoiled her to her hearts content. But as she grew older and was able to think for herself she saw that her sister was being treated poorly.
Her parents would pay her no mind and would only give her the minimum she needed to survive. So Maulaina took it upon herself to care for her older sister.
They grew close very quickly and Maulaina loved her as much as her father loved her. When their family only consisted of them she sold everything they had, leaving the memories of their parents in one house to buy and live in a new one. They were very well off and never had any trouble with money.
They stuck to themselves, not leaving the city, and only leaving their home for supplies and the like. However once the Scourge invaded, they lost everything. Maulaina was running with her sister when she fell. In the chaos she was not noticed as her sister ran on. She hoped she would be alright, and tried to get out herself.
She ended up running into the woods where she found herself being chased by a ghoul. Once again, her agility failed her and she tripped on a root as she ran past a tree. Just as she thought it was over she heard a roar and a Lynx pounced on the Ghoul. It made quick work of the thing and left it in pieces. Maulaina was grateful to the animal, however it was still a wild beast who only acted against something that was in its territory.
Maulaina tried her best to show it she meant no harm. That was when just through the trees Scourge could be seen killing her own kind. The Lynx seemed to understand, seeing Elves being slaughtered by the undead. It seemed to know that she was only running. It stayed by her until the Scourge had mostly moved on. It was then that she took the Lynx on as her companion.
The days that followed were hard for her. Not just having to sleep in the woods, hoping no more Scourge came around. But she tried everything in her power to get the Lynx to see her as its master. But it was a stubborn animal and she had never been trained as any sort of Farstrider.
But after a few days... she finally noticed it was following her around. She gave it commands and it would listen. She was happy she had been able to tame the powerful beast, and promised it she would take good care of it, even though it probably couldn't understand her.
She returned to the city with the Lynx at her side attempting to find her sister. But all that awaited her were ruins. As her people returned she still waited, and there was still no sign of her sister. After a few days she assumed and worst, and left the city.
She promised herself in tears that she would never return. The memories that would await her if she ever did were too hard. But it was still hard for her and she found herself unable to leave for a while. Long enough at least for her to turn to fel with the rest of her people.
With that she left and headed for wherever she could make a new home, keeping only but a memory of her sister.
She was stuck in bed when the Cataclysm happened, well out of reach but too injured to see what was happening. When the time comes she plans to find out just what happened for herself, not wanting to rely on anyone else's words to form a picture in her head. With the sounds she heard, she must have to see it to believe it.
