Marius is seen as the nice, polite, perfect male most of the time, always smiling and asking if he can help people. He is Bisexual and, most of the time, flirts with anyone whom he believes is beautiful without regard for race or gender which is what may cause people to be uncomfortable around him. Often at times he could be regarded as cheeky and promiscuous but when he chooses to make a commitment, he can remain loyal to that partner.

Regarding conflict, Marius seems to much rather remain out of it and keep out of sight but if it calls for his assistance he will be glad to help to the best of his abilities. He also seems to prefer using illusions in his magic, mostly because he enjoys watching the surprised look on his opponents face. Because of this, some may call him an Illusionist.

History

Marius was born into a working class family, quite a poor working class family living in the slums of Silvermoon City. He was one of two brothers, him being the oldest. However, his younger brother died as an infant and his parents decided that they shall have no more, that one was enough for them. So, Marius lived his life without any siblings and not many close friends either. He decided to keep everyone at arms length, at school, at work, everywhere.

As such, he lives life mostly alone, only enjoying the company of a few people, most of these people being women who took a shine to him yet he didn't return the feeling. This caused him to feel that the company of other people was only good for a temporary solution to loneliness but he didn't care either way, he thought this was a life he enjoyed. Even during this time when he was young, he found nothing wrong with what he was doing, be it man or woman.

During his life in Silvermoon he was taken up as an apprentice to one of the more experienced and skilled mages after he was found with a natural ability for spell casting which he didn't take much mind to. He was taught magic at a faster rate then most of the other students and went about his teachings with a very apathetic attitude, not seeing what's so special about himself. As he progressed, he became interested in the legends of a magic that can manipulate someones own blood to extraordinary lengths, even crystallizing it to form dangerous projectiles.

The more he learned about this, the more he wanted to learn and quickly became engrossed in his studies to the point where his masters couldn't keep up with him and decided to leave him alone to learn by himself. He quickly advanced, more quickly then he ever had until this point, burning with the desire to find this magic of legends. With all his studies he couldn't find anything about this magic he has been searching for but that didn't make him give up.

As he began to think about leaving Silvermoon in a pursuit of knowledge about this magic, something happened which changed his life dramatically...

One day, Marius was returning to his home early from a day of studying, wanting to surprise his parents and tell them about his plan to leave Silvermoon. He had no idea how they would of reacted to this so he kept practicing how he would say it over and over again, trying to remain calm and keep a smile on his face. He knew this would be hard for them to understand but he thought they would be happy for him, that he has found something in his life he wants to gain.

As he approached the familiar house, he felt something was not right but he shrugged this off as he opened the door. Besides the creek of the old, rusted hinges, there was silence, complete silence. He wondered if his parents might of been out but he still continued in just to make sure they're not home. As he crept silently through the house, his eyes came upon something he would never, ever forget. His father standing over his mother with a knife, a knife dripping blood.

Marius couldn't say anything, he couldn't move, his whole body was frozen in shock. Slowly, the shock subsided and it was replaced with one thing, one thing that Marius knew would overcome him if he let it control but he didn't care either way. He was possessed by Madness. A grin came across his face as he began to laugh quietly, his father hearing this as he turned to see him, shocked at the sight of his son while he stands over his dead wife, obviously the killer.

Marius' father tried to convince Marius that he had to do it, that he didn't want to, that he was sorry that he killed his mother. Marius couldn't care either way, he just slowly walked up to his father, laughing and before he knew it, he lunged at his father in an attempt to subdue him. His father only fought back in fear, cutting Marius with the knife but he couldn't land a clean blow to his own son. The fighting ended as the knife clattered on the ground, Marius' hands around his fathers neck while he holds him in a pool of blood which formally belonged to his mother.

All he could do was laugh as he watches his father squirm, gasping for air, turning purple and falling limp, lifeless. Despite his fathers and mothers sudden deaths, Marius didn't cry, he did not shed one tear for them. He took the knife and began to decapitate his father's corpse, limb by limb with a smile on his face, shoving each part of his body into a chest, believing it was the best burial that bastard was ever going to get.

His mother, he buried with an unmarked tombstone, believing she did nothing wrong. It was then that he finally told his parents as he practiced that he was going to leave Silvermoon. They never uttered a word of complaint. Thus, he left Silvermoon shortly after, the guards believing that it was in fact Marius who killed both his parents and escaped and they were to believe this until the day Silvermoon fell under the might of the scourge.

As the Sunwell became corrupted, Marius began to turn to Fel magic, hunting Demons so he could consume their magic. He found that one of the most potent ways to satisfy his thirst was the actual blood of these creatures, the pure essence of their body. Marius became addicted to Demonic Blood, finding that it was the most efficient way to keep his magic addiction under control. Only, it began to change his body. Despite the weak demons of Azeroth, the blood still changed his body and he noticed this.

As the physical changes became noticeable by him he had to tell himself to stop before it's too late. In order to keep his addiction at bay, he began to hurt himself instead, using a silver coin with sharpened edges as a blade, he began to spill his own blood. This ritual lasted for months before he was finally free of the addiction of Demonic blood, the physical changes began to reverse themselves with the help of blood fueled dispelling rituals casted by Marius himself.

With the symptoms gone, he began to travel the world in his original pursuit, searching for the legendary blood manipulation magic.

His searches brought him the goblin towns where he begun to lose sight of his original goal and delve more into the career of a mercenary. He worked under the alias of 'The General' as he did not wish for his own name to be stained by the dealings he does as he didn't always do what could be considered as 'Right'. Due to his mercenary work, however, he met a woman by the name of Aanya and became interested, if not infatuated, with her.

This caused him to chase after her, attempting to charm her into his arms but she seemed to tease him with a smile on her face and because of this, he only wanted her more. As the days passed into weeks and these weeks into months, they overcame many hardships together and, as Marius always thought would happen, she fell for him. Just as he fell for her.

They continued their relationship from that day until the present and it will continue, as Marius wished.
