Personality

Maevarian has been dominated by her inner beast for some time. This has caused her to be somewhat "feral" when it comes to her temper and actions. She is easily provoked and will not tolerate even the most minor of annoyances. To make her personality an oxymoron, she is a very calm, peaceful and collected elf. Her inner rage only rears its ugly head if it is provoked. She does have a history/reputation of being untamed, though.

History

Maevarian Pawthorn was an only child. She was born with amber eyes, which was somewhat rare for the time of her birth. Her entire childhood, she was raised with the constant knowledge that she would become a druidess. Her natural affinity for this only made the transition easier.

Upon reaching maturity, Maevarian had already received minor guidance and training towards the arts of Druidism. She completed her studies, so to say, of the trade and began her hibernation in the Barrow Dens. Very little occurred during this time, until she was awakened, of course. She served in the war until it was over, and resumed her life.

This is where her "True" history begins.

Having survived the war, Maevairian committed her efforts to the struggle over Ashenvale. She spent many years protecting the forest, and fending off the Orcs. This has resulted in an intense hatred towards them on her part. During her years here, Maevarian developed a close bond with a group of druids. She respected the group of them greatly. But, during a particularly nasty squabble, Maevarian was injured badly. She gave into her animal instincts and fled, rather than staying to aide her allies. Once she returned, she had been shunned by her group. They deemed her a coward, and refused to interact with her until she had redeemed herself.

She spent many years contemplating as to how she could do so. Nowadays, Maevarian searches for a way to reunite herself with her family. She has traveled to many different locations, and preformed many noble deeds. But, until she feels her repentance complete, she will continue to travel.
