Personality

Mabra is as charismatic as any dwarf. Not caring much for what others think about her blunt ways.

She is patriotic and strongly cares about her family and friends, her allies and her homeland. She has a lust for extracting vengeance against those who have wronged her people, herself or her family and friends in the past. For example the Horde, who brutally slaughtered her future husband. The Dark Irons, who have always been an enemy since the War of the Three Hammers. And naturally the Burning Legion and Scourge.

Some of her family have described her as "immature" for her witty remarks on some subjects. Though when she wants to, or when the need arrises, she can manage to turn herself around and be serious. Her family has hardly ever seen this side of her, the few exceptions would be in some combat, and durring serious events such as funerals.

She is also very intelligent and good at coming up with ideas, even if said ideas are not always very good.

History

Mabra was born into the Dragonbasher society, a few years after her brother, Mordin. Her father supported the family by working as a miner in the northern lands of Lordaeron, he came home every other month, having earned an average pay.

Her mother, Jedna, was something else, she was a warrior of Ironforge, her whole family was one of warriors, fighting Dragons, troggs and Dark Irons and criminals. She was employed by the Kharanos guards as were all of her brothers. Her only sister was a jewel crafter, specializing in those intended to be inlaid in armor.

Mabra herself had an adventurous mind, like her mother, with no parents around for most of the day she had only her older brother to answer to. Often they would play "Warrior", using sticks and stones to beat the hell out of each other while out in the cold of Dun Morogh. When playing this game, Mabra won a lot of times, using her weight and size against her brother. Sometimes the fights ended up badly, with black eyes, broken arms or bruised knees. Jedna thought nothing bad of it, but did hand out a punishment for this, the injured one had to walk to a healer him or herself.

As she and her brother grew older, Mordin became more serious, and became an apprentice to a Blacksmith in Ironforge. Mabra who was still young, in her mid-thirtees, and had nobody to play with, for the first time in her life she was forced to spend time with outsiders of her family.

The other children she had met were not used to her beastly ways of playing, some ran home, crying, especially the boys for having been beat up by a girl. Her mother warned her, saying it was the only one she would give her."I'll send you off to join the army, if you like to fight so much!" This sounded more like a reward than a punishment to the battle-hungry dwarven girl.

The next day she wandered around Kharanos, most of the children avoiding her for what she had done. Until she ran into a gnome engineer who wanted to show her his newest invention. This gnome was rather old, and reeked like freshly produced phlogiston. She followed him to his workshop, where he gave her his newest invention, he said it was a mind control cap, and that he could make everyone his slave while wearing it, his first goal was the head of the Kharanos guards.

Mabra wasn't pleased when she heard this, and kicked the defenseless gnome in the face and ran off with the hat. Dumping it into a lake where it overcharged and exploded, all the pieces of it sinking to the bottom. When she came home she was punished severely by her mother, with a spanking, something which she didn't hand out often, and she forced her to write an application letter to the army.

And so, Mabra was stationed at Dun Algaz the week after, getting to do nothing more than peering into the distance from Algaz station to spot any unusualities. Other than some Kobolds and troggs harrassing travellers, and some hunting for Dark Irons, no intresting events occured until the First war.

Durring the aftermath of the First War, Mabra was sent to the kingdom of Azeroth, along with some dwarven riflemen, human soldiers and one elven archer. The elf constantly was the victim of verbal harrasment from her, some of the humans and most of the dwarves, not that the elf was greatly offended by it, she was distant from the group, and would sleep half a mile away from their camp.

As the orcish legion was pushing trough Khaz'Modan, Mabra was called back to aid the troops there, so were the other remaining riflemen. Mabra was pleased when she took down a black dragon together with her team, she had proven worthy of her family name. It had scratched her, cutting trough her chestpiece and shoulder guards, leaving a scar to remind the fight by. She also took five fangs from the dragon, she crafted them into a necklace in the few moments she had for herself.

The following years she spent in Lordaeron and Khaz'modan, hunting down Orcs for bounty and delivering them alive at Alliance Internment Camps. When the Third War started, Muradin wanted to go to Northrend for ancient relics. She went along, since she still was part of the army.

Once there they had a lot of trouble with the Scourge, luckily Prince Arthas came. Muradin's death was hard to believe for her, she was always suspicious of humans, and she had heard about the Culling of Stratholme.

Once returned to Lordaeron, she directly returned to Ironforge, where they were needing people for the comming battles with the orcs in Kalimdor. Mabra wished to see all of the world, and she signed up directly. Once there she hunted many orcs, but arrived in Hyjal too late for the main battle, though she was in some battles after the one with Archimonde.

From then on, she stayed in Kalimdor, travelling with a group of friends for six years before she returned to her homeland, to see her relatives. She now has had enough of them and wishes to make a living while travelling again, acting as a merc, bodyguard or escort for goblin trade caravans.
