Personality

A very secluded and silent blood elf farstrider, Luna is as talkative as the moon. She says little unless it is deemed worthy, having undergone much scrutiny before being spoken aloud. Unusual for a farstrider, she is naturally jumpy or twitchy when surprised, however she is able to mask these occasionally when faced with danger. She is more of a listener and observer than a heroine, preferring to stay out of the fray until the last possible moment. Skilled at climbing and nimble on her feet, she usually hides in hard-to-see locations before making herself known to ally or enemy. As per her name suggests, she is a lover of the night, and relishes in the idea of lying on the rejuvenated grasses of Eversong and gazing up to the sky. For this reason she is put on the day watch, as her concentration during night wanes greatly.

History

Born in the Quel'thalas forests, Luna was one of the many young elves snagged into the farstriders, intended by her parents to follow in their family's footsteps. She willingly agreed however her performance among the others was meagre, failing in some of the more complicated tasks but proving competent at the simple missions entrusted to her troupe. During these peaceful times, her personality was much different to what it is now. She was bright, cheerful and welcoming. However that all changed. She befriended many of the rangers, back when they were numerous. And each farstrider did likewise. She, along with most of her kin, fought in the third war when Arthas ploughed through the Eversong forests and she and only three others in her troupe of ten survived, albeit by luck. Mourning the loss of her previous life and friends who had fallen to the scourge briefly, Luna then went on to rejoin the reformed Farstrider Rangers, her new persona in place, and there she still remains. Running errands and scouting with her troupe. Distrusting of the closes of her factional allies, she has always held silent contempt at her races toleration of the Forsaken, as well as their natural Troll enemies. When occasionally she decides to tread outside of her ward, she does so alone.
