Appearance

She wears business casual-style clothing; her taste in clothes is conservative in that she doesn't wear anything inappropriate for the occasion.

Personality

She is dour and has very little tact when it comes to people. She's largely belittling and disrespectful of non-Blood Elves, but is even hard on her own people. This isn't out of a misunderstood "tough love;" as stated before, she's tactless. She's flat-out mean and has been since day 1. Most of her students hate her, especially for that nasty conjured riding crop she's very happy to use. Misery entertains her. She isn't much of an opportunist and is dedicated to protecting what she has, but she won't let good chances slip through her fingers.

She considers the rest of the Horde to be savages, but, loyal to her state admiring of their sense of unity and honor, her and her sensitive nose will deal with them.

She has a deathly grudge against humans, and has no tolerance for Night Elves.

Other: She has a twin brother.

History

Lumiya comes from a large, strong, high-society family of Silvermoon who kept strong ties with Dalaran and Kul Tiras. Sadly, many of them were killed, and a few rumored to be re-animated during the scourge uprising.

With Silvermoon slowly being restored, people could begin picking up the pieces... Or plotting vengeance. While the mage's twin brother decided to make a pilgrimage to the Outlands with other Sin'Dorei (and has since then returned due to the revelation of their Lord's new nature), she stayed down in Azeroth instructing potential students of magic and tutoring those outside.

With recent events having shaken her up, Lumiya delights at the opportunity to see her students attack their enemies, as well as herself. She's temporarily broken away from teaching to become a part of the zeitgeist that is the Horde War Effort.
