Personality

Louise is a mature, and somewhat strict woman. She is simple in her thoughts, and it is highly unlikely you'd hear any complex philosophy coming out of her. A simple bounty hunter that doesn't care much for anything other than her work, and a good glass of ale every now and then. Her past as a guard in the prison island of Tol Barad has given her a strict loyalty to the Alliance Law, and the strength to face criminals on a daily basis, two traits very much needed for a bounty hunter. As a bounty hunter she keeps hunting only for the Alliance, aiding the Stormwind Guard at catching escaped criminals, or turning in criminals wanted for questioning. Overall, though, Louise is a woman of her work. Her job was her life, and her new job became her life too. She is a very devoted person to her line of work, and will never break her moral code, based heavily on the requirements of a guard. She will never kill unless she absolutely has to, she will never accept a bribe, she will never aid a man dubbed by the kingdom as a criminal, and never harm a man dubbed as an innocent. To her, the world is black and white. And the hand that chooses those colors are the legal system of Stormwind.

History

Louise was born in Stormwind, her mother a mage and her father a guard. Her childhood was simple, as those were the quietest fifteen years in Azeroth's recent history. She spent her youth learning to read and write, her mother teaching her essential skills to be an intelligent woman. She learned history and literature, while her father taught her how to protect herself, teaching her how to fight with her hands, with a knife, or with a rifle. They would go hunt wolves every winter, and hares every summer.

But when she was fifteen, the Dark Portal opened, letting in a swarm of orcs that forever changed how things were. Her father stayed behind to protect the kingdom, and her mother took her to Kul Tiras by ship, escaping the soon to fall kingdom. Louise was nor a child, nor an idiot, and knew very well that she would not see her father if he does not come with them. Life in Kul Tiras was simple, despite the war. Her mother helped with the war effort, and stayed working at the docks as an overseer. Louise helped her every now and then, but those three years were fairly quiet for them. Once she became of age, she decided to follow in her father's footsteps, and joined the guard.

Shortly after that she was sent to Tol-Barad to guard the prisoners there. And there she stayed. She heard, of course, of the victory over the Horde during the Second War, and of the closure of the Dark Portal and of the men who stayed on its other side. She heard of the Plague of Lordaeron and the fall of the Grand Alliance. But to her it was all the same. She was a prison guard. She doesn't have to pay attention to these things. She stayed a prison guard for all those twenty seven years, only once or twice a year returning to the Kul Tiras main island to visit her mother. She never married. Love was not on her mind at all.

When the Cataclysm struck, and the Tol Barad riots began, that's when she left with the envoy to Stormwind. When she returned to her childhood home for the first time in thirty years she felt lost. She fell missing for several days, but when her commanding officers found her, drunk in a ditch, it was decided to discharge her of her duties, with her considerable contribution and age.

Louise was not happy with that decision. Angry with the situation, even though it was all her fault. She took her payment and left. And now she simply sits and waits. Collecting occasional bounties, even if only to prove to herself that she can still uphold the law in her ideals.
