Appearance

Lorric generally can be seen in a simple shirt and pair of pants when he's not out doing something, however his sword is something he keeps close at hand all the time. Lorric's armor is any sort of plate or chain he can get, being strong enough to carry most sorts of armor meant for a Human.

Other: As a shield-wielding Paladin, Lorric is a bastion of strength in combat. He uses his Light-given powers as defensive forces, reactive when assaulted.

Personality

Lorric is jovial and kind with friends and comrades but gruff with most other people. He is a typical Gilnean, distrusting all non-Humans and having little faith in the Alliance. His faith in the Light, however, is quite strong due to his upbringing. Lorric hates the Undead and Horde intensely, holding a thirst for combat that's unbecoming of a Paladin.

Often to his detriment, Lorric puts himself literally before others in combat situations. He is a defender by nature, and trained heavily in the arts of defensive combat, mostly with a shield.

History

Born to a peasant family in Gilneas, he was sent off to the Church to get a better life for himself. He served as an altar-boy and monk until he was old enough to train as a Footman in the Gilnean armed forces. He was 18 when the Orcs launched their second invasion, and the Gilnean army served on the front lines much apart from their lord's vehement opposition in the Alliance council.

After the end of the war, the Order of the Silver Hand was a way for Lorric to see the world beyond his home. Lorric Fern had served with distinction for two years under the flag of Greymane's nation, and was proud of his Gilnean heritage. He, however, didn't want to stay within the bounds of his nation. Lorric left for Lordaeron to join the Church and become a Knight.

The Third War made Lorric into a grizzled veteran. He saw men die by the thousands and become restless in their graves. While he's still haunted by the ghosts of those days he hasn't relented in his duty to defend the weak. In anything, the War only reinforced his strong Gilnean personality, making him a man less inclined to take help from people and more focused on his faith.

Lorric is now a citizen of the Kingdom of Azeroth, living comfortable in Stormwind as a Paladin and defender of the Light. He misses the days of the Third War and hungers for a way to get back into the fray, to have his back to a gate or a town and his shield blocking an enemy's advance.
