Personality

Logain is a forsaken who has become a "loner" due to the events that happened in his life, all he cares about is himself and his own progress. ( This is shortly explained if you read the history you will come to a greater insight of my character ).

History

Logain was born in the kingdom of Lordaeron, in the city known then as just the "Capital City". He was the son of a wealthy tradesman who wished his son would follow him up in his trade. But Logain a curious boy refused this, as he was interested in the study of arcane magic. His father a man who held on to traditions opposed to the toughts of his son, forbidding him to have anything to do with magic in general. Logain suddenly came up with a bright idea, as his father had alot of connections. Logain secretly started collecting books about arcane magic. He spend hours in his room reading these books & experimenting. He grew so fascinated about it that he hardly left his room. Only to eat once a day.

As years passed Logain changed from a healthy young boy into a skinny unfit man and at the age of eighteen he left his father's house. He left the Capital city traveling from town to town, earning his money by trading and some other little jobs. Upon entering a little farmer's town near Andorhal he noticed an old man performing tricks to amuse the little children. Logain closed up to the man watching his tricks, this is when he first saw the use of magic. The old man used arcane magic to polymorph objects and did some light tricks helped by the use of magic. After the show when the old man slowly journeyed off as he went from village to village. Logain addressed him, asking him to teach him everything he knew about magic. At first the man refused and continued his journey. But Logain refused to give up and kept following the man from town to town. After a while the old man gave in because he somewhat liked Logain's stubbornness. Later on the man introduced himself as Gahn Merdin an ex-magister, now traveling around trying to solve the mysteries in azeroth. Within months Logain learned to master the small tricks Gahn would teach him. But Logain hungered for more, he wanted to learn more, everything there was. But Gahn always cooled down Logain warning him of wanting to use to much magic at a time.

After a couple of years of traveling with Gahn, they kept hearing reports about a plague sweeping trough the lands and horrid creatures roaming around in deserted villages. Gahn was deeply concerned about this and thought Logain could use some training to be prepared if they happened to encounter some. They travelled north to the coastline in tirisfall glades as Gahn didn't want to be disturbed. There Gahn instructed him in the lessons of arcane magic and some other lessons in conversation and combat. First he tought him rules to remember the most important one of them was "When you are strong, make them believe you are weak." Now Gahn was getting down to the basics. He taught Logain to get in touch with Arcane energy. Learning Logain how to let it flow trough him and convert it onto a orb, later into an arcane missile. At first Logain had great difficulties with learning. But due his obsession with magic he kept practicing and practicing with it. After learning quite some Arcane blows, Gahn moved to the next subject frost magic. Here he learned Gahn to divers the Arcane energy that flows trough him in a colder variation, leaving a frost effect. Logain excelled at this sort of magic learning it quite rapidly, after months of training the both schools and learning how to use them instinctively. Logain asked Gahn about the "Fire magic" as Gahn replied that he refused to teach Logain how to control fire, as due to Gahn's beliefs Fire leads to power, power leads to destruction & destruction leads to corruption. Logain was agitated about this answer but trusted his mentor and decided to drop it.

As they left the northern shores again, passing trough villages they heard that in that period Stratholm has fallen, Gahn deeply concerned about this traveled together with his apprentice Logain back to the Capital City. Wich was ruled by king Terenas. They arrived in a rumourous city which Logain still remembered well, as Gahn told him he was going to the city's library Logain tought he would pay his familly a visit. Upon arriving at his parental home, he found that the doors and windows were covered with planks as were some of the other buildings. After doing some research of asking around what happend the only thing he could conclude was that his parents had eaten some of the infectious grain and had fallen to the plague. Walking around the city, beaten down by the loss of his parents he noticed that a rumourous mob had formed on the main street in Lordaeron, he heard whispering about the return of Prince Arthas from Northerend. Logain wanted to see this by himself as he made his way forward trough the crowd. There he saw Prince Arthas and his troops riding in the Capital City. He peered at Prince Arthas, somewhat admireation in his eyes as he had always been his hero from when he was just a boy. After they passed Logain followed him together with the crowd to the fortress of the Capital city where Arthas went to meet his father. Logain was one of the lucky who managed to cramp his way into the giant throne room of the fortress. There he watched Logain kneel before his father. A silence occured, a tension in the air. Suddenly Prince Arthas drew his sword and Stabbed down the King. The entire castle was shocked as Arthas his troops started fighting against the guards a panic occured. Everyone tried to get out of the castle as fast as possible. When Logain left the castle viewing upon the city he saw something he could hardly belief.

The city was filled with screaming people and these horrible wretched beings infesting the city. The scourge had attacken the city. In the hysterical crowd Logain tried to make his way to his master who was supposed to be in the library.

As Logain ran up the stairs to library he turned around to look, there he saw a in the street about 75 feet away civillians being slaughtered by these horrid creatures. Suddenly he heared a voice shouting "Get in here Logain!" Logain looked at the entrance noticing Gahn and another bunch of men & women all in the same robes. As the horrid creatures came forwards the men and women started channeling magic, frostbolts knocked the horrid creatures back slowing them down as others threw fireballs at the creaturs scorching their bodies leaving the stench of burnt rotten meat. Suddenly one of the mages blinked forwards towards the approaching creatures. All Logain could do was stare somewhat amazed seeing these magicians performing true magic! Then he focused back on the man that just blinked towards the group and suddenly he realised it was Gahn. Suddenly he saw bursts of arcane magic surround Gahn knocking back and slaying dozins of those horrid creatures. It was a true massacre but no mather how many got killed there always seemed to keep coming more. Gahn exhausted from the arcane explosions suddenly got overwhelmed by the mass of creatures leaving nothing than a corpse behind. Logain bursted in a state of fury. First his family now his master. As he slowly lost his grip of conciousness he started maniacly firing Arcane blasts. But no mather how much firepower the Mages had it was only a mather of time before they got overwhelmed.

I am forsaken

Logain was now infected by the plague delivered to him by horrid creatures. As he became one of them a fiend of the scourge. He brainlessly strumbled around looking for more victims. Yet looking calm on the surface there was an entire struggle going on inside his head. The urge to break free, yet being unable.

Month's passed as the lich kings power weakened and so did the grip on the ones cursed by the plague. With the rebellion of Sylvanas, Logain was able to abolish the shackles that held him captured in his mind as he now had a will of his own again. For this he owned Sylvanas eternal gratitude and he seeked refugée in the reclaimed ruins of the Capital city of the kingdom of lordaeron. Now simply know as the Undercity or the ruins of Lordaeron. There he followed Sylvanas as he studied the books that were being brought together by the forsaken, training in the hope to achieve great power as his mentor did.

But as time passed the royal apothecary society of the Undercity seeked new ways to eliminate the scourge and all the living things because they believed that in their form there was no suffering, no misery and most important no death. But Logain didn't agree with this ideology, after a fierce discussion with a member of the Royal Apothecary Society. He realised there was nothing left in the Undercity for him and so he left the Undercity. As he started travelling like his mentor did before him. Seeking to unravel the secrets that Azeroth holds, to reach his maximum trough his potential with magic. He now travels trough Azeroth on his own behalf, doing anything for his path to power. He believes every creature stands on it's own feet, and that a society with rules is only to keep the people from seeing the truth.
