Weight: 180 pounds. Hits 300 pounds in full plate armor.

Height: 6 feet.

Appearance

Liya usually wears a multitude of different plate armors, changing them as they break or wear out - Giving an accute description would be impossible, short for the fact that she is almost always seen in full plate.

Other: Liya suffers from hypomelanism (or first-degree albinism, type A albinism, or simply albinism, nomenclature of the disease changing from country to country.) and thus has pale skin, silvery white hair and lastly, violet eyes - those being a consequence of the disease, and the explanation why she possesses them in the first place.

Personality

Alignment: Neutral Good.

(The following applies to all races/genders and derivatives.) Liya is blunt, somewhat sharp, violent, quick-witted and to an extent, a hothead. She'll act before she thinks most of the time, though Paladin training is slowly dampening those traits.

She doesn't cower from speaking her mind and usually announces it out loud, regardless of possible consequences. Brutally honest, when she's afraid she cowers, when she's happy she smiles like an idiot and when she's angry she attacks. Things to the paladin are greatly clear-cut, as if the world was black and white.

Perhaps rather than her personality, it'd be better to explain her view on the Light. Being a relative late-bloomer, as she only started to train as an adult, Liya sees "Good" as something done to preserve your own life and protect those you hold in high steem. These mottos were carried within her since her days as a mercenary, and nowdays she follows them to heart.

History

Liya was born the daughter of a noble family, but this was greatly short-lived. She barely got to enjoy the graces of a wealthy family or get spoiled with countless delights - Merely four years after her birth, her father was suspected of treason and stripped of his title and executed, causing the family to be thrown into the gutter.

Liya's mother realized she had only two possible ways to escape their fate and recover whatever bit of fortune they once had; And so she worked for men in ways a woman of her stature shouldn't, while paying a hefty sum for her child to have decent military training.

And just like that, Liya grew up built to be a warrior. At the age of fifteen, she started taking on small jobs as a mercenary - Usually taking down an untrained bandit or two and usually with the help of her teacher. But soon afterwards, she would be taken in by the mercenary group that her teacher worked in and start doing harder, heavier jobs, accompany in crews of ten men or more.

This allowed Liya to learn about military tactics and battle in groups, positioning in the battlefield and a multitude of other war-tactics. This also allowed Liya to take part in every war that the humans took part in - And she was old enough to be a part of, of course - usually doing small missions or scouting with her group.

After finally gaining enough money to pay her mother a well earned rest, however, at the age of twenty years old, Liya took a more permanent job.

She'd fight bandits near Stormwind and escort traders to Goldshire, to protect them from the wildlife and whatever else could jump at them. Although she received a guard's pay, and a bonus for every defias killed or captured, Liya wasn't a guard and her importance in the hierarchy of Stormwind's military was about the same as that of a common mercenary.

She would at times pick bigger jobs and take people further from Stormwind, but another hindrance arrived. She was frequently looked down upon due to her gender, and jobs would be taken away from her. To cure this situation, Liya started dressing in full plate and acting under the alias "Lee", a male, thus allowing herself to get jobs without the prejudice that came with them.

This situation would change once she met the priestess Lily by chance, however. She would be hired by the priestess as her bodyguard in her quest for a grand treasure, that they have not found to this date. Their relationship, however, soon grew from patron to servant to friendship, and then more.

The happiness was set to be brief, nonetheless. Caidrah, a Felsworn that was after Lily for whatever reasons, utterly defeated Liya in combat, leaving the swordswoman defenseless and humiliated. This, followed by the demon nearly killing Lily a later that night, motivated Liya to seek training under the paladins of Stormwind.

She sought knowledge on how to yield the Light, and started to learn under one of the paladins that had decided to aid her. As her training proceeded, Liya was still thrown into a multitude of interesting situations, such as the Nerubian Ahn'zal kidnapping both her and Lily and forcing them to find some sort of magic gem in exchange for their lives.

Liya's only hope is that the new powers she gathered training under the paladins of the holy church will be enough to defeat Caidrah and protect both herself and Lily from whatever the Felsworn has in mind.
