She wears this lupine ensemble in honor of her Mother and Clan. She always carries a bow over one shoulder and a pair of light-weight swords are sheathed at her sides.

It is worth noting that Lirshar is possessed of only one good eye. The other was lost to battle many years ago. The left half of her face is heavily scarred over, and the haunting milky white husk of an eye that did remain is usually covered by an eye patch.

Other: Lirshar sometimes carries a leather pouch with her, stuffed to bursting with cut and un-cut precious stones and minerals.

Personality

Lirshar was once full of pep and spirit. She was outgoing, optimistic, and very concerned with her own honor, and that of the ones she cares about. Slowly, over time, she has started to calm down her enthusiasm and show it through less verbal means. She has incredibly thick skin, in that she is difficult to overwhelm emotionally. Once incensed, however, she will fight tirelessly for what she thinks to be right. Lirshar can be defined by her determination and her drive to keep going. Despite her transformation into a more well rounded adult, her spirit and admirable desire to help her brothers-in-arms and her race as a whole has not diminished in the slightest.

Having been on many missions, and reading many texts, Lirshar has become quite adept in the art of warfare. While her perception of tactics and planning has grown significantly, she still much prefers to be on the front line of any battle with her worg companion at her side. That being said, Lirshar is still very stubborn and will struggle when it comes to making smart decisions versus the honorable or “good” decision. It is for this reason that she always seeks the advice of a Shaman or other respectable individual before moving forward with major choices. With a Farseer for a mother, and a Spirit Champion for a mate, it is no wonder that she holds the Spirits' opinions in high regard.

History

Lirshar was born forty years ago on the road somewhere in Nagrand on one of her mother's many excursions. Mochla was a stubborn woman in her youth and could not be contained to one place when there was a wilderness to explore. Despite the fact that she was with child, Mochla mustered her strength and went out frequently to discover new and interesting things. It was because of this birth on the road, Mochla said, that Lirshar herself came to be possessed by an almost insatiable sense of wanderlust as she grew up.

After Lirshar was born, Mochla took her back to the village where the rest of her family was. Mochla would act as Lirshar's primary caretaker, for her father was largely absent and never spoken of much to young Lirshar's chagrin. Many a time the young Orc would ask about him as she grew, but she was always answered with a cold silence or a “Now is not the time.” Mochla was a compassionate mother overall, but Lirshar viewed her as a rather strict one. Lirshar was often scolded for falling asleep in a pile of worg and dragged back to the hut while throwing a temper tantrum. Regardless, Lirshar expressed a deep love for animals from a very young age and often wanted to play with them or talk to them. Eventually, her mother came to call her “my wild one.” This desire to go out and wander around and play dangerous wild animals was barely contained for the first ten years of Lirshar's life, and by the time the Frostwolves journeyed to Azeroth Mochla had all but given up. With an entirely new world to explore, it would have taken a miracle to stop Lirshar in her tracks.

Together, Lirshar's wanderlust and love for animals became a problem for the wellbeing of her family. Unbeknownst to her mother, Lirshar would often take one of the worg out for a ride with dreams of a glorious hunt. Her desire for greatness ended abruptly when she sixteen years old. On one particular secret outing she was beset upon by the wicked Alliance and forced into an internment camp. Lirshar had not heard much about these camps, for not many of her people had been trapped in them as far as she had understood. She was incredibly frightened to think of what would happen next and how angry her mother would be when she found out. This fright slowly faded into withdrawn apathy as years passed with no sign of hope.

The only good thing that came out of this captivity was Lirshar's chance to meet Duron, the strong warrior that was to become her mate, and his good friend the feisty Aroshka. Through this meeting Lirshar was eventually blessed with two children of her own: one son and one daughter. Raising a family of her own was difficult in this place, but with Duron and Aroshka nearby to help, Lirshar had a fleeting sense of hope. She prayed to the Ancestors each night that her children would not be caged animals, that they could be free as she once was.

Her prayers were finally answered and the Orcs were freed. When the trio of friends were at last liberated, they set off with their rescuers and followed Thrall to the far off lands of Kalimdor in order to find a home. Lirshar was introduced to Duron's parents during the journey, and it made her nostalgic and sad for her own home and her own mother. She did not speak of it though. She had responsibilities now, and if Mochla and her were meant to meet again it would happen in due time.

After landing on the shores of a place that was declared to be Durotar, many of the Warsong Orcs were sent off to Ashenvale to collect lumber for the settlement of Orgrimmar that was to be built. Lirshar and Duron worked together to find a decent hut for their family to live in, but Lirshar was not about to stand on the sidelines. She would often find an Elder Orc to watch after the little ones so that she was able to go into the forest and aid in the lumber camp efforts. After partaking in many skirmishes against the Elves, Lirshar began to feel a growing sense of guilt for not being around her children. She returned home and urged Duron to fight extra well in her absence.

Lirshar stayed with the children for quite some time, but certainly not when Duron finally came home just to say he was going off to Hyjal. Lirshar went with him to partake in a healthy dose of War. After all of this, Lirshar and Duron joined a Horde paramilitary group together and eventually ended up founding one of their own: The Goresight Vanguard. The missions for both of these groups took up many years of time and effort, and this is largely where Lirshar developed her passion for the art of warfare from. The two parents hope that these many experiences with battle have been good for their children, and eagerly await any sign of a bright future for them.

Lirshar’s own experiences eventually brought her to pursue the path of the Kor’kron under the mentorship of High Warlord Kil’shi Rendtear. She can usually be found around Orgrimmar or Ashenvale on guard duty, daydreaming about adventure and pining for the “glory days.”
