Skills and Abilities

Divine Comedy Liliaena is a decent illusionnist and diviner. Scrying is something she excels at, as well as invisibility - and dispelling it. She can also modulate her voice to make it sound sweeter, though it has a lot to do with her natural (and trained) charisma. She is always eager to learn more, and trains on many other spells, which she receives only mixed results - don't expect her to create mirror images of herself just yet. She knows basic conjuration spells, mainly frost spells of a weak intensity.

Noble's Charisma Being a noble, Liliaena is pretty well-off and has quite a bit more priviledges within Sin'dorei society as a commoner would hope.

Appearance

She often wears higher-class robes, purple, blue or pink-shaded, or perhaps red fiery dresses. Not much in the field of armor, as she wouldn't get in battle - perhaps, at best, phase out of it.

Other: She has a magical wand at all times and by moments a fiesty staff.

Personality

She's quite the typical young and slightly spoiled Sin'dorei woman. Her looks come first and foremost in her mind; she spends a great deal of time caring for her appearance. However, unlike most of her peers, she attempts to be more charismatic by being less snide and arrogant. She prefers the sweet girl approach, and indeed does have a more open mind than most of Sin'dorei society. Her true feelings remain concealed to everyone, tossing them aside with a smile, even though she -is- energetic and cheery (if maybe also stuttering with shyness by moments and pretty insecure) by nature.

She remains quite wealth minded; but where she used to be cunning and of almost no morals, scrying and stealing to her heart's content, she calmed down after the fall of Silvermoon and now tends to be much more genuine in her everyday life - except maybe the obsession for neat hair and fashion, and a teeny bit of greed. She uses her scrying and cunning relative to a business she tends to, much more than to ruin someone's day. And it's surely for the better.

History

Liliaena was born 112 years ago to a family made primarily of jewelcrafters. Her mother was a mage (and aunt to Ruibarra ), while her father was but a mere commoner. Both never married, and her mother was also always a bit put aside in the Silverfang family. At such, Liliaena found herself in the strange situation of bearing her mother's name, while being at the same time quite distant from other Silverfang people. Beyond Renarra, with whom she would in time bear striking resemblance, she never spent much time with other branches of the family.

Her first years were pretty easy and laid-off as her parents were not very terribly strict, and also quite wealthy of their own. She took an interest to jewelcrafting and beauty, fashion and dressing in generals, though certainly more stemming from her mother's trade than from her gender. Early enough, she began to be taught in magic. Her parents really wanted their daughter to be a magister in Conjuration, at the time a bit of a fad, and also to go against mainstream Silverfang teachings where, indeed, there are few magisters.

But the girl never really caught on. When she was but 12, she burnt herself with a flimsy, unmastered fireball that left a very deep fear of fire in her mind. A fear she only partially managed to dominate later on, really. Desperate, they rather decided to give up on magic. But you see, the girl wasn't exactly totally disinterested. With her own childish pleas, she was eventually admitted to study in Divinism, which was something she personally asked. Little did she know it'd shape her life, huh?

She trained and trained, eventually taking Illusion courses as well. Years of practice made her quite potent in both schools and she thrusted herself in the world of drama when her parents asked her to use her scrying skills on another member of the Silverfang family. A lost heirloom one obscure and distant member of the family had been keeping in her safe too long, and which they wanted to grasp. On Liliaena's indications they managed to rob the diamond, and it caused a bit of stirring amongst a few members - but not once was Liliaena nor her parents even suspected, as few people knew of Liliaena's magic fields to begin with. Officially, she was but a conjurer.

She was heftily rewarded and both her parents and her understood the value of her skills. They encouraged her to continue and one day, she managed to move out of her parents' house into a pretty upper-end house in downtown eastern Silvermoon simply by reading the will of its tenant, and making friends with his son, charming him and making him fall in love with her. Until the day she learnt that the tenant, his health degrading, mistrusted his son, and was ready to stealthily change his name to hers on the deed. When he finally died, she inherited the house, much to the boy's anger; soon after, both broke up - leaving her strangely shook up as she had opened her heart a bit too far, and came herself to love him. He tried to pressure her beforehand, of course, and use her dependance to his profit; but Liliaena's parents stepped in, and a dark night, abducted the boy, scared him until he fled to southern lands, in Alterac, then to Dalaran. Where he still resides.

Her life was, subsequently, made up of those little tricks. And with each deception came more money, but also a growing doubt in her soul, and she came to convince herself she was a terrible person. She spent a lone existence, really. Couldn't bond too much with people as she kept deceiving them. Unless they were the ones betraying her. She made few friends, and for family only had her parents, who began to see her concernedly. She perhaps met other Silverfangs, once or twice, during huge family gathering, but out of them she only got more people to cheat. But she didn't know how to manage her personal life and her trade. And she was terribly insecure of being cheated herself, as she found it so easy to cheat on people. In fact, she's always been insecure in a lot of fields, and the only thing she truly believed was her invisibility spell, which she used on more than one occasion, even if just to flee from awkward situations.

The years before the Scourge attacked, she had kept her wealth, but lived in a much more austere way, and ended up swearing to give up on her magical powers. Her parents were not terribly angry, though they had also come concerned of their daughter's little mindgames and that eventually she'd lose herself. But she didn't have the time. She refused to scrye when the Scourge approached her lands, not even fleeing her home or bothering to defend it. It is only, out of fear, when the army of Arthas reached to a few blocks before hers, that she decided to render herself invisible. Through some feat of strength and cunning agility she managed to slip her way, concealed, in the chaotic night, through the Scourge ranks and out of danger.

But she lost her wealth, her parents - both went to defend against the army, and died on the spot - and her very soul. She became a craving woman, weakened as Silvermoon was rebuilt, almost insane by moments. Until the Sunwell was restored she took onto Kael'thas' preachings - until his true nature was revealed. Then she became even more revulsed and decided to leave Sin'dorei - as she had become one - politics and drama for good. Her house having never been rebuilt, she settled in a less prestigious part of the city. There she stayed, determined to make a change in her life.

And so she changed and eased up, decided to keep her scrying spells to a ground low. She cheered up, not as terrible as she thought. Decided to make something of her life, she put aside magister studies, and instead with the help of a friend, decided to open up a courier company, Dawnwing Express, delivering mail and objects across Quel'thalas. She still made use of scying abilities, though in much less shady conditions, like overwatching her unaware employees, or when doubting a friend or other necessities to the insecure elf, though not as bad as she did before - in away the fall of Silvermoon was a tabula rasa, yes? The fallen noble eventually heard of the Silverfang calling, and though she was pretty estranged from them all her life, she quite hopes to reunite with them. At worst, a bit more money and tremendious support. At best, people to call family.

After this reunion, her courier and shipping business (renamed FelEx) thrived. She even acquired a small fleet - two old sailboats and an airship - which she funds by shipping goods between Durotar and Silvermoon, and from Silvermoon to the coastal harbors of Quel'thalas. Not as good as a goblin, but cunny enough to break even and even do a small profit. The Sundering barely harmed her business and, while she -is- troubled and concerned, she keeps running her shipping ventures, while trying to reach even closer to once-distant family members.
