Likil is arrogant and prideful, to the point where it may be obnoxious to the others around her. She enjoys the company of others, especially those that can feed her ego and tell her how great she is. She has found a rivalry in an elf named Kilik who seems quite similar to her. She enjoys picking on him, as well as competing to see who's better.

Likil doens't have much of an attachment to other people. She assumes if her family didn't die, they surely abandoned her, and that she was too good for any of them. Because of this she hasn't tried to look into her lineage, or search for her blood relatives. Likil's interest is herself, because when no one else is around, she'll at least have that. Other than that she doesn't mind having any friends or buddies, though most of her relationships are casual ones.

History

Despite their devotion to the Light, even the Rainbows family had an occasional scandal kept secret from the public. Lillian Rainbows, wife of Bruce Rainbows, for some years had an affair with another elf. She had tried her best to cover it up, and for the most part she did, except for one thing...

Years before the twins were born, Lillian had conceived a child from the man she had been dating. When she had realized she was pregnant she told Bruce that she had been going away on a mission to help spread the word and further their philanthropy. Bruce bought it, and for a little less than a year she had hid herself from the public, writing letters to Bruce to fabricate her story of travel. When finally the baby was born, Lillian put her in a basket with only a note of her name: Likil.

The basket was dropped off at the door of the orphanage, and so the elven child was abandoned.

She grew to be a rambunctious child in the orphanage. Likil enjoyed playing with the other children, and spent most of her time playing pranks and shirking the classes that she was supposed to take. The child was unruly and undesirable to those adopting. She didn't care, who needed parents anyways? Likil surely didn't. She was a menace with a sense of adventure, and the behavior didn't get any better even when she was approaching her teens.

She started to develop a sense of an ego. Likil felt she was too good for the parents that were rejecting her, that she was too cool for school, and that the headmistress was lame and she didn't need to listen to her. It was no surprise then that when she turned a hundred and ten, Likil was literally booted onto the streets, and everyone was glad to see her go.

Likil didn't need them!

From that point on she had tried to scrape together what she could of a life on the streets. It wasn't easy, and often she was too proud to accept help from others. She would much rather help herself, even if it meant a five-finger discount. Over the years the scoundrel had become better at her trickery and sleight of hand, so that she didn't need to work or listen to anyone to get what she wanted.

Eventually the day came that the Scourge invaded Silvermoon, and Likil of course was one of the first to very bravely run away. Of course it wasn't cool to be a coward, but neither was dying, and the elf didn't want that. She took shelter with the other civilians while the undead ravaged her home city. Many were out there fighting and dying, but it was certainly worth it if it meant Likil didn't have to fight.

In the aftermath she had felt much different than she ever had before. Perhaps it was remorse or regret, perhaps it was that magical addiction nagging her in the back of her mind. The Sunwell was destroyed, and Likil knew that was bad. She couldn't really go on with her life ignoring the crippling addiction, so for once she decided to do what the others were telling her and use the fel to sate her addiction. At first it made her really sick and turned her eyes green, but she managed to put up with it even as it corrupted her.

She felt disgusted with this, but it was necessary for her. She stayed on Azeroth while many of the other elves went to Outland. She would go out and explore, siphoning mana from whatever creature she could to feed the hunger. It wasn't until the restoration of the Sunwell that she would stop her hunt, and once again focus on other things...

Like adventure! Likil found herself enjoying the world outside of Silvermoon so much. She knew there were so many opportunities to explore, especially now that she could enter Horde territory. From then on the elf found herself wandering, following her whims, wherever they would bring her.
