Personality

Lenedus is often seen as an eccentric individual, compared to most of his light-following brothers. Ever since he was a wee young lad, he took an interest in firearms, mostly guns, which explains why he carries around a shotgun so often. He receives a lot of criticism from most Paladins, regarding his technological ways, but he still continues to follow the light in his own unique ways.

Apart from being eccentric, however, he often hosts quite the enjoyable conversation when he's not arguing about how a gun actually works with some people.

History

Born in Ironforge to a Paladin and a chef, Lenedus began life learning the ways of the light, and the stove. He did relatively well learning the ways of the light, learning at a steady pace.

One day, he came across what appeared to be a long metal stick, with a hollow tube going down the middle from one end. He became curious as to what it did, so he asked his father.

"Why son, tha' is a boomstick. Some Dwarves use 'em to fight an' hunt."

"Dad, will I ever use one?"

"Maybe. Although, I don' think us Paladins are allowed to!" his father scruffed his hair, and went off to run some errands.

At the age of 57, Lenedus was accepted as a Paladin. However, he really didn't seem to enjoy using the hammer as much as he thought... Something was missing. So, he purchased a shotgun with funds he saved for a few years from a part-time job he had cooking food for a fish and chip shop.

The gun itself wasn't of good quality, but it sufficed for training. The first shot he took, though, nearly broke his shoulder. He didn't realize that guns were so powerful!

Training went on for several years thereafter, and over time he became increasingly better with his shotgun. It wasn't until a group of Troggs overran a small Dwarven village to the south, that Lenedus could use his gun in combat. He marched with several Paladins and other soldiers by his side, to take back the village, where hostages were being held captive.

As the charge towards the village began, Lenedus switched his gun out and loaded it. The shotgun was close-ranged, so he'd need to get in close. He ran up to the side of a Trogg, which was sneaking up on a Dwarven Warrior, aimed the shotgun at it's head, and fired. The gun went off, and the Trogg stopped in it's tracks, missing a head. Several heads turned his way in the middle of battle, then turned back to the fight at hand. The gun worked very well, it seemed.

And so, Lenedus continued using his gun for many years to come - during all three wars, employing both holy and sharpshooter tactics. He received a lot of criticism from fellow Paladins for his ways. He responded simply with a smile, and a small speech.

"As long as one 'as faith, they 'ave the light watching over them."

Since the end of the 3rd War, Lenedus has created a rather small sect of Paladins devoted to destroying any Undead who walk the Earth, even Forsaken and Death Knights, if the opportunity arises.
