Lena is a patient young woman. Stubborn in her morals yet lacking in a driving passion. She fights with her brain, preferring tactics to brute force. And while this is usually a good thing, it occasionally means she is slow to make decisions relevant to the situation at hand. Her opinion of the other races is varied. She has a deep hatred of Undead, shared by most of the living world but has a neutral outlook on the others, even those of her faction.
History
Lena grew up within the Stormwind orphanage. Orphaned due to her parents having been killed a bear when camping a month after she was born, and while she was in the care of her grandmother who passed away shortly after.
She felt little unhappiness for her parents, having been too young to know them well. She was never told exactly why she was orphaned and therefore she never felt the true impact of what tore her family apart.
At the age of ten, Lena wanted to join the Stormwind priesthood as an acolyte. This dream was cast asunder due to the Priest's misinterpretation that her eagerness and vigour were infact signs of recklessness and ambition. Following this, she parted ways with the church to become an apprentice blacksmith at Goldshire. This was not the best profession for Lena, as her skills with the hammer and anvil were poor, and she struggled to learn the rudimentary basics. Two years later, age twelve and still learning, the Soldier Lennard Ford who had requesting some armour noticed the spirited spark within her brown eyes. He brought her to Northshire abbey where she was put under his charge and trained.
Fast forward eight years. Age twenty, her beloved friend and mentor left her to her studies while he went north on a fatal expedition to Arathor, leaving Lena once again alone.
The loss of Lennard Ford struck a deep blow to the young woman, having portrayed the soldier as a father figure for the prior eight years. The bodies of those on the expedition were recovered a month later and buried, Lena overlooking with tearful eyes and a deep embitterment for the occupants of Arathor, regardless of faction, as well as the prominent members of the military hierarchy who had sent the men to their death. However this time she was not helpless. She served at Northshire for a further five years (age 25) before departing after her minimum time of service had ended. She went on to do freelance work for minimum wage, from being a simple bodyguard and escort, to tracking and eliminating.
She remains out of touch with the events of the world, only affected by the major ones such as the scourge invasion due to the influx of huge numbers of undead.
