Around demons, one would possibly see that she was slightly agitated.

History

Leana

Leana was born with her twin brother, Raluis, before the invasion of the Scourge. The two were almost exactly alike, both loved to spar with one another, as well as go on mini adventures around the area. As they grew older, Raluis was found to be the prankster of the two, while Leana was the quiet one that was secretly enjoyed the small things he pulled.

They both began training to become scouts when they got of age, both of them taking after their father, who began as a scout himself, and rose through the ranks after years of service. While Raluis was more of a fighter, Leana was the type to sit and wait, striking at the moment she thought to be the weakest for her target.

On the day of the Scourge invasion, Leana and her family were lucky enough to survive and barely escape, not without taking injuries. Her father had lost his left arm to save them, having run into a small group of ghouls that blocked their path.

In the years that passed, their mother died of sickness, and the two had continued their training until they even surpassed their father in skill. They helped in reclaiming Silvermoon, and were eventually chosen to go through the Dark Portal, in hopes in reuniting with their prince, Kael'thas. Before departing, they learned that the group they were traveling with would be lead by none other than their father. The two were worried, mostly because of their father only having one arm, and also from the tales of the demons that inhabited Outland.

The trip there was dangerous, even with their group ten people strong. They had lost two on the way, one from an ambush from the worgen, and the second from a horrible encounter with a basilisk. Through all of this, they still reached the Dark Portal, and proceeded through it. Just as the two feared, they found demons, and chills ran down their spines as they saw them locked in battle with the forces of the Horde and Alliance. It was the voice of their father calling that snapped them both out of watching the heated battle.

They were headed to Falcon Watch, when they were intercepted by...something. In an instant, one of those in the group was hit with fire, igniting instantly and falling to the ground, screaming in pain. As they looked up, terror and fear rose up inside. A dreadlord hovered over them, speaking demonic words they could not understand. Two large meteors dropped on either side of them, infernals standing at their full height and letting out a horrible roar. The group of seven tried their best to hold them off, but it was all in vein. Leana spit up blood as a blade was run through her side, falling to the ground and watching as her father was run through himself, fire igniting his body just as the other person had. As her vision began to blur, she realized her twin had disappeared. Only two people from her group remained, herself and one last male. As the last male went down, the dreadlord turned to her again, a wide grin on his face. He brought up the blade to finish her off, when the last infernal fell to pieces behind him, causing him to look back. From what she could see, an arched blade cut into the demon's side, the demon letting out a howl of pain. The blade dropped from his hand, and after another strike to his side, he lifted off and flew away. Leana looked at the figure before her, fear still in her mind. The figure looked around at the group, sheathing it's blades before shaking it's head and turning. She tried to hold back another cough, but failed, the figure turning back towards -her- specifically. As it stepped closer to her, she realized it was an elf, or rather, it was night elf. He kneeled down and held his face close to her's, it was only then did she realize he had been wearing a blindfold. The last thing she saw was him reaching towards her, before she lost consciousness.

She remained unconscious for a few days, before waking up in a bed and sitting up quickly, only to lay back down from feeling a sharp pain in her now bandaged side. She looked around at the area, confused. The last place she remembered was Hellfire Peninsula. This place, however, was -much- different from that place. This place had grass, trees even. There was wildlife, and nothing that looked like a demon at all. It was...beautiful, but why was she here? How did she get here? Why was she still alive? All of these questions ran through her head. Every time she tried to sit herself up, she found she couldn't, as the pain was too much for her at that time.

She laid there for a few hours, and as night crept in, the elf she remembered walked in, his head pointed at her. As soon as he saw her looking at him, he turned an began to make his way outside again, only to be stopped by her voice. "W-why did you save me? I thought Kal'dorei hated the Sin'dorei?" He looked up and hesitated to answer at first, finally turning back, "While that is true, we are not heartless." She slowly lifted her hand and pointed at his blades, "How can you use those, if your blind?" He began walking, only leaving her with one line, "That is of no importance to you." With that, she was alone again, her questions unanswered.

After two more days, she finally made the attempt to stand and walk, barely able to keep herself up as a result. She made her way outside, holding her side as she moved. When she got in the open, she could see him practicing, only there was something weird about him. His blades were both on fire, and the tattoos he had on his chest and arms were glowing green. A bit of fear rose up inside of her again, as she remembered what had happened almost a week before, but she found that she couldn't look away. Though it scared her, it also fascinated her, and she wanted to know more about it. She carefully sat down and watched him for hours, until he finally stopped and sheathed both blades, turning his head towards her, "I could feel that you came outside as soon as you got out of the house." She simply nodded slowly, opening her mouth to speak. "Why exactly do you live here...wherever -here- is? And what are you?" "I find it easy to meditate, and make plans of action. And what I am is of no importance." He turned to her, pointing, "I expect you to leave when you've recovered." "Would...would you possibly teach me how to fight like that?" He shook his head and turned, walking off into the distance, "No, this is a path I chose for myself, I will -not- allow others to follow in my shoes."

It confused her, the thought that he had taken her to his house, instead of to a nearby town. Upon asking him, he mearly shrugged the question off, and left. After a while of asking, he answered back, "To atone for what I did in the past. Now, less talking and more resting."

For the next few weeks, she asked him, even begged him to take her in as his student every time she saw him. She would never give up on this, as she wanted revenge on the demons for what they had done. After a long while of listening to her ask that question, he finally decided to give her the chance she wanted, since he thought she wouldn't make it past the first part, and he wanted this in order to send her back home.

Though she had passed the beginning trial, she found this to be the single hardest thing she had ever done in her life. She had never put her body, and mind, into such difficult training. She was given tests that tested her mind, told to travel great distances, even greater than the distances she was used to, even be interrogated. This all was done to make her into a hardened apprentice, and to hopefully prepare here for the upcoming rituals.

The first ritual she participated in was hard to get through her head, she would have her eyes burned with a flaming blade. The only thing keeping her from giving up, was the screams of her friends being killed around her, and the memory of her father being killed in front of her. She was given two days to heal and be ready for the next stages of training, which she knew she was ready for.

The final ritual, the most important ritual that she was told, was the Binding. Her mentor instructed her to find a demon in the place he told her to go to, and trap it in a crystal he gave her. Upon reaching the area, she ran into a few types of demons, ranging from imps, to other demons much larger than herself. She happened to attract the attention of one in particular, a very large succubi. The two fought, and when Leana looked as if she was going to lose, she used her previous experience in combat, combined with the new way she fought, to weaken the demon -just- enough to trap it. She brought the crystal back to her mentor, and he prepared the binding. The pain she experienced was unable to be put in words, as it was the worst pain she'd ever gone through. A while after it was completed, she insured him she was in complete control of herself. Her personality hadn't changed at all from binding with the demon, or so it seemed.

There were two trials she had yet to complete, the first was the marking, where the mentor would brand her with a specific tattoo. The tattoo her mentor branded her with was Control. A while after the tattoo was finished, it glowed light blue and she felt herself gain some strength. Her training was almost over, there was one last thing trial she had to go through.

She was instructed to slay a demon, but not any demon. This demon would have to be powerful, even more powerful than the one she was bound with. Her mentor followed and watched her as she located a particular demon that gave off a large amount of fel energy. Upon getting closer to it, she realized that it had once been a Sin'dorei, but that's not what surprised her. The demon turned around and smirked, "Well well, it's been a long time...hasn't it sister?" Her eye twitched as she heard the voice, gasping as she realized who it was. Raluis's voice had a second voice to echo his own, a dark tone in it as he spoke. "I thought you had all died, but it seems I was wrong about that. Now that your here, why don't you join me in the Legion? We would be great allies, just like old times." Anger weld up inside of her, and she simply ignited her blades, the tattoos violently glowing blue. She lunged at him, only to have him jump back and dodge the attack, "The bastard should have finished you off as well." With that, their fight had begun. Leana's mentor looked on, arms crossed as the two fought. After what had seemed to be hours, Leana was standing over her brother, blades at his throat. She frowned, muttering a few words lowly before beheading him and stepping off.

With this last trial completed, her mentor bid her farewell, and bid her luck against those of the Legion. To this day, she is mostly seen around Outland, though she is sometimes seen around Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.
