Lazarus can be seen wearing old robes, but under the robes he wears his old armor to remind him of the good old days.

Personality

Lazarus is a old man who has been through a lot and it shows in his looks and his personality. He is very inpatient and doesn't liked to be bothered, but he is a man of the light and had devoted most if not all of his life to the teachings of the light. While he is a inpatient old man he is always willing to be kind to all who deserve it.

History

Lazarus was born in a small town called Grand Hamlet long before the first war. He grew up and eventually joined the Holy Order of Northshire as a cleric learning the ways of the light and spreading the teachings of the light. When the Orcish Horde invaded the town of Grand Hamlet was destroyed and because of this Lazarus joined the military and at the 2nd battle of Stormwind Keep he spent his time helping the wounded. Before the battle was over Lazarus retreated with a number of other deserters eventually winding up in the lands of Arathor.

It was here he met Lord Gerald Grandale the II, a knight of Stromgarde and of the Alliance. Grandale felt sorry for Lazarus as a man who had lost his home and being the man he was he decided to teach Lazarus what he knew about fighting while Lazarus in turn taught him all he knew about the light. The two became close friends and when Second War broke out Lazarus left with Grandale to serve in the war. When the two returned they would learn that they had caught the eye of the Silver Hand and would become Knight's of the Silverhand.

Grandale would return to Stromgarde while Lazarus moved to Stratholme where he would teach others to wield the light as he did. Time passed and eventually he received word that Lord Grandale wanted Lazarus to teach his son to be a knight. Lazarus returned to Stromgarde and agreed to take Gerald as his pupil, together they traveled the lands of Lordaeron helping those they could as he taught Gerald the teachings of the light.

After a few years Gerald had learned all he could from Lazarus and they returned to Stromgarde where Gerald would be trained by his own father. Lazarus would return to teaching in Stratholme, that is until the third war broke out. When the plague broke out he was ordered to assist a group of paladins that were holding the undead back near one of the undead strong points. When the outbreak became to big they retreated with some of the others and regrouped with the other members of the Silverhand.

The remaining forces gathered and prepared for their final assault against the undead. They battled hard but were ultimately defeated. After the battle Lazarus and a few of the survivors moved to what is now known as the Eastern Plaguelands and joined the Argent Dawn. It was here he would stay fighting the undead in Lordaeron trying to reclaim the lands lost to undead. That is until the battle of Light's Hope.

After the battle and the formation of the Argent Crusade, Lazarus got word that his old student Gerald Grandale was banished from Stormwind and fearing that something may of happened to him he left the Crusade and set out to search for his old student.
