While being a priestess, Laurenna's body is fit from daily exercises and the woman has developed rather pleasant curves, nothing excessive. She has a fairly large bosom and is often embarrassed by it.

For clothing, Laurenna usually goes for simplicity over intricate or complex outfits. She normally wears a pair of pants with a matching shirt and boots. At times she may wear robes. She does not enjoy wearing any sort of headgear. She doesn't wear any jewelry, apart from small earrings on each of her ears and the pendant on her neck, she also doesn't use makeup, apart from very rare occasions.

Personality

There are a few words which could easily describe Laurenna's personality and they would be playful, joyful, outgoing and happy, but at times the words serious and even severe can be applied. She doesn't hold the patriotism or nationalism Gilneans tend to have, mainly because she hardly spent any time on Gilneas. Her views on things were however still heavily affected by her parents, who were both Gilneans. Her training as a priestess also has given her compassion, respect and patience, despite the fact she struggles with the latter. She tends to be short-tempered, especially towards idiocy, stubbornness, and arrogance. Flirtatious individuals also tend to get her angered.

Her views on other races tends to actually differ on how she was treated by the individual of a certain race. She feels very uneasy around Orcs, but doesn't throw comments at them right away. She feels uncomfortable and bothered when close to a forsaken, and usually tries to walk away from them, even though she pities them. She has hardly interacted with a night elf, but her views on them tend to vary but she usually considers them as arrogant and overly dramatic beings and shows little interest in talking with them. On blood elves, her views are similar, but she actually feels pity for them as well, knowing their history had quite a few sudden turn of events.

With dwarves and gnomes, she considers them to be complex and varying individuals, knowing some might be nice, while others might turn out pretty annoying, arrogant or any variation of those. On Draenei, she's obviously respectful towards them, knowing they're a race of Light, and sometimes she actually feels uncomfortable around them, always wondering if she's acting appropriately with them. Their tails and tendrils makes her slightly uneasy, due to being completily different to her.

She also tends to have a big mouth.

History

Laurenna was born in Gilneas, roughly after the dark portal's opening. She was a single daughter, and because of that received plenty of attention from her father, Maercius Kelington, and her mother, Adelin Kelington. The family had a few problems though, mostly the fact that Maercius had the bad habit of drinking more than he should, often either by causing trouble in the street or returning home drunk and getting into a fight with his own wife. Of course, these were rare occasions, but during her early childhood she spent most of her time on her mother's arm, sleeping, and doing things babies that age usually does.

By the time the Second War began, Laurenna and her family decided to leave Gilneas, her father and her mother weren't truly fond with the way Grenn Greymane isolated himself and the nation of Gilneas from the rest of the Alliance. Laurenna was still far too young to have a formed option about this. Adelin became impregnated again, the next child would later be Laurenna's brother. The family had left to Silverpine and eventually, they ended up in Lordaeron, another human kingdom of the Alliance. There, the Kelington family settled, Maercius began performing mercenary work and Adelin started to work in an inn as a barmaid.

Monetary problems were inevitable, the expenses became heavier for the Kelington family, especially with the new child who was soon to join the family. Laurenna's father and mother struggled to set the girl in a decent school and the child wasn't quite thankful for their effort. Despite the education she received from both of her parents, started to lean to a more rebellious nature, often getting into needless fights with the other kids and stealing toys and materials from the other kids. As the months of pregnancy became passed, Adelin had to retire from her work for a while to take care of the newest member of the family, her son, Lenni Kelington.

The new member only brought in more expenses for the family and they later had to remove Laurenna from her school. The expenses were entirely on Maercius' wallet, making him work twice as hard to bring money into the household. Thankfully however, an elder priest had noticed the family's situation and offered to take Laurenna under his care. He stated that he would teach her about the Light, as well as discipline and the proper ways for her to behave. The family quickly and naturally accepted without any second thoughts. Laurenna herself wasn't quite content with this, but she had little choice on the matter.

Laurenna was fifteen years old by now, and she had started to develop her womanly features, the young girl slowly growing into a woman who started to attract quite the attention, especially from the males. The elder priest who had taken her under his care was a patient, calm man, who never actually demanded too much from Laurenna. This only made her more interested in actually studying and learning about the Light than if he had been a more demanding teacher. She was educated not only in the Light and such, but in most things the school would teach her, such as mathematics, the Common language and many other things.

Soon enough, Laurenna began to show further progress, with only a few months of training she already knew most things that one would learn about the Light. She was starting to learn how to actually control the Light, however, which made her family quite proud, the girl had a nice change over the time, and so did her family. Her father's work managed to prosper a bit, he had received a series of good works which brought a good income, and he had been receiving help to lose his addiction for alcohol. Her young brother, Lenni, was growing into a small boy without much trouble, her mother was able to work and take care of the boy, which was even of more aid.

Laurenna even managed to find herself a boyfriend although her father was very uncomfortable with it. They were restricted to many things, the two weren't allowed to be alone. While this was frustrating to Laurenna, she actually wasn't too annoyed by it. At least she could claim to others that she had a boyfriend. Her boyfriend however, Eliseus, felt that their relationship was too limited and eventually ended up breaking up with her after merely two weeks. That made Laurenna rather bothered, the fact that her life was so controlled despite the fact she was now a woman, a priestess, and knew more than enough about certain things her father was always suspicious of.

Although, a sudden turn of events changed basically everything on her and her family's life. A plague was released in Lordaeron, known as the Scourge Plague. This plague killed anyone who had contact with the infected grain, and amongst those the priest of the Light who was once Laurenna's mentor. Luckily, her entire family managed to survive the plague because Maercius had brought food from another settlement, buying it simply because it was cheaper than the food in Lordaeron. They had no option but to leave the city immediately, bringing only their clothes and their small belongings they could carry.

With that, the family fled far from Lordaeron, staying away from it since it had been quite literally infested by the mindless Scourge. This was a main factor which changed Laurenna's personality, she matured dramatically after this, after seeing the condition Azeroth was finding itself in. She started to dislike the undead and mostly anything related to it, even though her priestess training had taught her compassion.

After a while of idle traveling and difficult times, Laurenna's family heard about Stormwind being rebuilt, and they quickly began to travel there. During these times, her brother had grown up quite a bit, and was even taller than his sister Laurenna. They had some sort of strong bond, Laurenna was quite fond of her younger brother. The two's friendship being something admirable to some. However, things weren't nowhere as happy as it seemed, Adelin had contracted some sort of disease and despite Laurenna's efforts and attempts to heal the sickened woman with the Light were in vain, she perished.

Laurenna became depressed, finding herself to be useless, her father tried to comfort her but he too wasn't in the best of the mental conditions. They had finally arrived in Stormwind, the man taking all the coin he had previously saved as a mercenary to open something of his own, a Blacksmith. Laurenna herself started to work, while studying more about the Light, she often visited the Church of the Holy Light, in Stormwind's cathedral in order to pray.

The priestess' work was simple, she worked as an assistant in a tailor shop. It wasn't a load of work she had to accomplish, but it didn't pay too much either, regardless, she was content enough with it. On the other hand, her father's blacksmith wasn't working out. He was far too old and the equipment was at times too heavy, even for one such as himself.

Soon however, Laurenna started to feel like there wasn't exactly a purpose for her now, despite being a priestess. Laurenna loved action and other thrilling things. She felt like her life was outright boring, like she had no purpose other than work and pray for the Light. It was then when she luckily stumbled upon Cassius Palenix by the inn in Goldshire. They had a brief talk and she had learned about a holy order which Cassius belonged to. They talked for long and Laurenna found herself interested in said holy order, they seemed like the kind of people who weren't doing what they do for fame or reputation, but for their own firm beliefs in the Light.

It didn't take very long until she became a member of the Order herself...
