Appearance

Leather and mail, generally a very woodlands-y armor, or blue as part of the Alliance. He will very rarely wear a face mask, helmet, or anything else on his head, although it will happen sometimes. However, a small necklace, one with a crescent moon attached to it, can generally been seen on top of his armor.

Other: He has no tattoos, piercings, or any other form of bodily desecration. He has no visible scars, a sign of sheer luck on his part, and also due to his nature of long-range fighting. His skin is a light purple, as well, and he is muscular, but not bulky, as he still maintains the nessecary agility of being a hunter.

Personality

He is a planner, and generally a good one at that. The tactician, the long range fighter, one of those who rain down flying death on their enemies. He himself is a kind soul, and gentle, loving of animals and nature itself. He doesn't stay in them as much anymore, but he loves his people's lands with a fiery passion, and tries to do everything possible to keep harm from coming to them. No one can keep him away from those forests if he wants to, and if they try, they most likely won't be around much longer. He fights with a vengeance, as if every fight he's in is personal. Which, most of the time, it is. He hates blood elves, and even high elves of the Alliance. However, he still respects them greatly. He knows the difference between disrespect and dislike. He does, however, consider them to be fools for abusing the powers that have brought so much misery to Azeroth.

He is a Bounty Hunter, not a mercenary. He wants to be useful to his people's new allies. Therefore, he will help track down and kill/capture people who are considered to be criminals/enemies of the Alliance. Generally, he agrees with why their considered to be criminals, and wants his people to be trusted and accepted by the Alliance.

Another thing, he will never respond well if someone asks about family, or starts talking about family. He has lost both his father and sister, and he has lost all memory of his mother, with the exception that he knows he had one at some point. Going into that will bring up sad memories, and most likely cause him to temporarily turn off from any conversation. It can range anywhere from just making him uncomfortable, to completely shutting him up and not doing anything.

History

Kyn'diel was born about 11,000 years ago, into the old night elven society. He was born to a father who was a mage, and a mother who was a priestess of Elune, with an older sister as well. Already immortal, due to the vast powers of the Well of Eternity, he was originally destined to be a mage, just like his father. However, after many years, and still not progressing beyond the simplest of spells, the young elf gave it up. He was drawn to the more physical combat, but still recognized that he was much better, and could do much more damage, from a range. On that aspect, he turned to his sister, Kayliea, who trained to be an archer. His sister, a very loving girl, was more than happy to train her younger brother, especially in ways not usually taken on by the men. His father... Showed disapproval, at first. However, in time, he came around, and supported his son. Watching him train, one day, he knew that his son had a natural affinity towards the bow that could never be matched by the arcane, no matter how much he trained.

After about... A thousand years, his world shattered. The Burning Legion invaded, and the War of the Ancients had begun. He did not get the chance to partake in any of the major fighting, however. On one of the first few days, he watched his father in combat, fighting with him and his sister. A Fel Stalker (Fel Hunter?) sensed the mage, and proceeded to hunt him down. Busy shooting, both him and his sister didn't see it, until it was too late. The tentacles had attached, and they watched in horror as the magic, and the life, was literally sucked right out of their father.

A few days later, he encountered one of the Highborne. Angered, and eager for revenge, he attacked. The Well of Eternity was doing one of it's power-sucked-by-Azshara's, and the mage was greatly weakened at first. However, one spell, a stunning spell, was cast, just as the Well's power came back. The sudden influx of energy was basically a power surge in the mage, the spell being magnified beyond what would be normal with the Well active.

The stunning spell had an extra affect on him than had been desired. It did indeed stun him, but it also damaged part of his memory. His family name was completely forgotten, as was his mother. He knew she had existed, and that she had died, but he couldn't recall what she looked like, or anything about her in general. It also damaged part of his memory about his sister, temporarily. Eventually, after the war and the Sundering, the memory of his sister gradually came back to him, and he sought her out, wanting to find her again.

After quite a few years of searching, Kyn was finally re-united with his sister, Kayliea. He found out, soon after seeing her again, that something was different about her. She was wearing a uniform armor, and had a much more commanding presence about her. She had joined the Sentinels during his coma, and now protected their people. During this meeting, however, they eventually came to the topic of Kyn's training. The Sentinels were a female-only organization, and would never allow him in, even though he wasn't a spellcaster. His sister approached the Sentinels, and asked for permission to privately train her brother in their ways. At first they outright refused, believing that she was asking for him to be able to join them. However, a few days later, after she clarified that the training was all unofficial, and simply because he didn't pursue the path of a druid, they accepted.

So, over the years, they trained, and Kyn got even better than he had been before the War. His sister, although in the military, was still the caring person he once knew, and they enjoyed practicing.

And then, the second invasion of Kalimdor occurred. The Human Alliance, and the Orcish Horde came. Even though he wasn't a Sentinel, he could fight, and was called upon to help protect the forest. During one of the Skirmish's between the Alliance and the Night Elves, they came upon a contingent of High Elven mages mixed in with the footmen and riflemen. Unfortunately, one of the mage's fireballs found their mark, in Kayliea's chest. A hole was practically burned through her, and Kyn's rage grew. He didn't fight anymore, but watched, and marked the high elf who had killed his sister. During the following night, all was quiet, and Kyn ventured out, alone, to find this high elf. He did so, and found him, with his wife, and two children.

Kyn'diel drew out his bow, and nocked two arrows. The children ran inside one of the buildings, presumably to get something, and that was when Kyn struck. He fired the two arrows, one hitting in the mage's chest, the other lower and to the right, by his stomach. His wife screamed, and Kyn knocked another arrow and fired, hitting the back of the woman's head. Both of them were dead by the time their children came out and found them. As Kyn walked away, he grinned wickedly to himself as he heard the children's screams and crying.

When his people became part of the Alliance, he eventually accepted the other races. However, the only two races he truly despises are the high and blood elves, still, for what they've done.
