Race: Tauren

Height: 8'9, in his humanoid form.

Appearance

Whatever he is in a druidic form, his fur/feathers are always as black as his Tauren hide. Blood red symbols and crests adorn his body, and they carry over to whatever form he is. This also includes the many scars he's gained over the years of being in wars and the wilderness.

Even in his Tauren form, he always looks feral and disgruntled. His dull and grizzled features don't tend to show any emotion unless he is enraged. It'd probably best to imagine he always has a "Do not disturb" sign hanging on one of this horns.

Other: He sometimes gives the impression he's lazy because of the fact he's almost always seen lying down somewhere and yawning before nodding off if he's isolated.

Personality

Despite Krohn's struggling efforts to cling onto an ounce of sentience for the sake of his few friends, he is still wild and feral at heart. He typically doesn't concern himself with right or wrong and is a creature that acts mostly on instincts. He is most at homes in the great forests rather than buildings, and doesn't enter them unless he has to. Or unless his friends go inside.

Those rare few who have formed a bond will find that he tends to follow the people he trusts closely, and will not normally do what people ask of him unless he is specifically told that he has to follow orders from certain individuals. This combined with the fact he likes to remain in his animal forms means that it's often a difficult task to communicate with him. He enjoys company rather than conversation.

One doesn't have to be around long enough to find he still clings onto prejudice to an extent. He has a natural distrust for any race that aren't Orcs, Tauren or Trolls, but can tolerate them easier if there are at least a few familiar faces nearby that he can turn to. Something that is very peculiar of him, however, is his tolerance of younglings. You could see a Human infant begin tugging at his tail or lying down next to him to find he wouldn't bat an eyelid, something that has thoroughly confused people.

However he may appear, once in a fight, it is easy to see why he carries the name of Rageclaw. He has quite a temper, and has been known to attack troops that have surrendered. It's common that he has to be restrained by his more peaceful allies.

History

Krohn was born to The Rageclaw Tribe, which consisted mostly of Warriors and Hunters, but there were a few Druids. They were recognised by those few who knew them to be particularly eager to fight and easy to anger. Perhaps unlike the other tribes, the Rageclaw had no interest in gaining allies or bonding with other tribes. They weren't too hostile to their kin, and they would care for a wounded outsider who stumbled across their territory, but they preferred to be isolated and keep to themselves. So for the many years of his life, Krohn lived with his tribe and attempted to find his calling.

Eventually, he found it. He wasn't to be a warrior nor a hunter, but a Druid. At first, he was equally balanced in all aspects of Druidism, but the natural rage in his blood was becoming difficult to stifle. He eventually descended down the path of the Savagekin. He found the way of the beast much more fitting, even if it was making him into a bit of a loose cannon. He was given the name "Strides With Beasts", for his natural affinity to bond with even the most fiercest of animals. However, the day came when he was fully able to unleash all of his rage. The centaur had come. His tribe abandoned their ways of living, now wishing to fight alongside their fellow Shu'halo tribes.

Krohn had entered any battle he could against the marauding centaur. He viciously fought with fang, claw and talon, channeling all his fury. A few of his fellow Tauren had viewed him as slightly intimidating, and were very unsure if there were traces of sentience left in him. But they couldn't deny that watching him battle the horsemen wasn't an inspiring sight. One day, Krohn was prowling the rolling plains of Mulgore before he spotted a company of Orcs and Trolls speaking with his fellow Shu'halo. It didn't take long for Krohn to get along with several Orcs, who appreciated his feral grace in combat.

Eventually, when the war against the centaur was over, his tribe was disbanded and served under Cairne Bloodhoof's banner and The Horde. No longer with a tribe, he had instead bonded with another Tauren who went by the name of Mahta. They quickly became great friends, and Krohn accompanied her wherever she went - even when she joined The Argent Crusade despite him not exactly following the righteous example of the crusade.

When Mahta was mortally wounded in battle, she told Krohn to remain with The Argent Crusade and to keep fighting with the promise she'd return to his side one day. Even though his presence is heavily questioned, and at times unappreciated, he continues to keep his promise and participate in the battle for good - even if he doesn't really know it.

Skills and Abilities

Humanoid Form - Krohn may return to his Humanoid form, but doing so is not an easy task. Once achieved, he can only remain for a short time before it becomes painful, and he must return to a beast form.

Wild Form - Krohn is able to easily shift between Druid forms without getting fatigued as quickly as a regular Druid. His strength is greater than the average beast/Druid in a feral form. His claws/fangs/talons are sharper and longer, and his senses are enhanced.

"Strides With Beasts" - Krohn can freely walk among beasts and enter their territory without fear of being attacked unless provoked. Furthermore, he can commune with them regardless of whatever form he is in and wild beasts will naturally see him as an ally. Tamed beasts likely will as well unless their master specifically tells them to attack.

Unbalanced - Krohn cannot perform any Restoration or Balance spells whatsoever. He has sacrificed all skill with those aspects for greatly enhanced melee prowess in his forms.
