In dress, Kristoff is seldom seen without his plate armor. The plate armor consists of his shoulder pads, vest, gloves, and boots. Kristoff's pauldrons are a heavily condensed piece of metal made specifically to rise and fall in small divets to protect his lower facial and shoulder area. Apart from the hunk of metal on his shoulders, his vest contains a chain mail gorget that coats his neck in a protective layer of chain and padding whilst providing cushion for the visor he wears with pride -- that cotains no plume.

Around the peasantry and rest of the Kingdom, he is courteous and friendly to all as a province can only run on those willing to serve their Lords and Ladies.

History

Kristoff Aegilmar was born to Lord Albert Aegilmar, the Baron of the Eastridge Mountains and southern Cairn Lake and Lady Sandria Cleopathra, a noblewoman of goodly repute from Redridge. His upbringing was that of any typical nobleman's son of the realm in the age of peace before the Orcish Wars.

The birth of Kristoff Aegilmar to his noble parents was a momentous occasion in the Principality of Eastridge, celebrated throughout the hold - both for the birth of a healthy male heir and the survival of Lady Sandria. He was Blessed by the court priests and wizards, and spoilt by house-maidens, but Kristoff hardly saw his mother as it was hard life living in the Eastvale Mountains-- Now named Eastridge. Kristoff's youth was rife with consequence and discipline.

From Lady Sandria, Kristoff learned-- from when he could spend time with his mother -- the pure and unconditional love of a doting mother. Her kindness and gentle heart softened the impact that his father's teachings would bear, providing balance for the young boy as he found his way in the world. His father was a strong disciplinarian, imparting on his son the values of duty and honor - setting him on the path of military service. Almost always on business outside of Eastridge among the king's court, he would return bearing gifts for his son from the far reaches of the kingdom. If ever Kristoff loved his mother, he most surely respected his father for his accomplishments, bearing, and resolve as a leader.

When Kristoff was of age to finally wield a sword, he was squired to Sir Griff Roltheim, the foremost knight of the Eastridge Armsmen. Sir Roltheim favored unforgiving, swift discipline much in the same style as Kristoff's father, and it was under the heavy clout of his hand Kristoff learned the ways of the sword. Sir Roltheim was known to have beat his students with an oaken quarterstaff when they failed to meet his expectations. Lady Sandria offered much protest to this tactic when it was employed upon Kristoff, but Lord Albert refused to let his son escape the discipline known of the Aegilmar bloodline.

Sir Griff was a role model to the young Kristoff, as many nights he'd stay awake and gaze across the Hold's balcony, dreaming of the days when he must be called upon to protect his keep with a plated fist and the discipline of a drillmaster. Many nights of the week would Kristoff escape far into the Hold's library to study upon formations and grand kingdom legacies to impress his father and his teacher, for that one day he will be called to take his Father's place as Baron.

As all good times must end, the bad ones must rise. Despite all efforts to save it, the Kingdom of Azeroth was shattered by the tide of the Orcish Horde - leaving Lord Albert and Lady Sandria dead and the title of a ruined land in Kristoff's name. Escaping to Lordaeron amongst a numbered few of Stormwind's peerage, a young Baron Kristoff was faced with leading his remaining subjects.

When the Second War had come, Kristoff received a message from Stormwind of the oncoming invasion of a second Orcish Horde and the summons to marshal his forces for war. Kristoff was rather dumbfounded, having no idea that such a force was now crashing through the Eastern Kingdoms again. As one of the most (unwillingly) experienced in combat against the orcs, Earl Kristoff was thrust into the front lines of the Alliance of Lordaeron's war against the Horde. It was in the fires of these battlefields that Kristoff rose as a promising young Knight.

During the celebrations of the Alliance victory and the liberation of Stormwind, Earl Kristoff was offered many hands in marriage as Houses from Westridge and Goldshire attempted to liberate the two in an Alliance, and many hands were shooed away from Baron Kristoff as he did not want to marry a woman who would not love back as much as he would unto her.

After the exodus to Lordaeron ended, and the rebuilding of Stormwind finished, Earl Kristoff lead his people back to Stormwind to come and reclaim his hold in the Eastvale mountains and site. He assisted in any way possible towards the House of Nobles in Stormwind to help the recovery.

During the small period of peace between the Second and aftermath of the Orcish Wars, Earl Kristoff began to raise horses and further the production of the logging camp, spreading his influence north to the Cairn Lake, but only to a part of the shore as the county wasn't permitted such a large state.

Earl Kristoff soon found himself embroiled with the reconstruction of the Kingdom of Stormwind and the politics that such entailed. When the Dark Portal reopened, Lord Kristoff marched alongside the Sons of Lothar in the First Alliance Expedition to Draenor. However, Lord Kristoff refused to deploy across the portal into an unknown world. It was a cowardly act in the eyes of many, but Earl Kristoff did not want his own Armsmen of Eastridge forced into another war that would employ much bloodshed and loss again.

Afterwards, he returned home with his armsmen and cavaliers back to Eastridge. He kept an ever-vigilant watch and strove for enforcing peace and law throughout his land as the final blocks were being placed upon Stormwind. Some say that Earl Kristoff even ventured occasionally with local hunters to quell the numbers of beasts that threatened the many laborers of the land.

For months, not a word was heard from the Earl. The workings of Eastvale slowly ground to a halt. As aging veterans of the Orcish Wars passed on, the leadership of the Eastridge's armsmen and cavaliers crumbled. Eastridge, one of Stormwind's famous training camps for armsmen and lumber. No matter the case, Earl Kristoff remained cloistered in his thoughts and studies within Eastridge Hold for several years after the Third War.

It was during these years that Earl Kristoff took a piqued interest in archaeology and human history. As most of Stormwind's records had perished in the Orcish Wars, and with the loss of the great libraries of Lordaeron, there was much work to be done in refilling Azeroth's bookshelves. Between his bouts of depression, Kristoff wrote several scholarly volumes on the Arathorian Empire and Kingdom of Azeroth from what scraps he could salvage from the remains of the Library of Westbrook and Stormwind.

With the recent rise of the Destroyer, Earl Kristoff expects only the worst to come from his death and destruction upon the land, and furthers the production of Armsman and Archers for the Kingdom.
