Appearance

Anything he can grab which takes his fancy. He likes to wear darker clothings which can be rich or impressive. Koru'jik's armour is usually hardened leather, where he favours protection over style, so there may be mismatching items he wears when prepared for a fight.

Personality

Alignment: Neutral Evil... ish...

Although appearing somewhat ruthless, Koru'jik is actually somewhat of a diplomat when it comes to meeting people, particularly of other races and factions. When, or if, he manages to find a friend or a suitable companion, Koru will usually be loyal to them unless some sort of reward is in it for him should there be a need to betray such a friend. He thoroughly enjoys speaking with members of the opposite faction.

History

Much of his childhood was spent on the Darkspear island, but he felt mostly unaware of the big picture. He only knew that there was danger when there was danger. He looked up to whoever was an adult for guidance in order to be told where to think or how to think, since he didn't feel all that independent as a child. When travelling with Thrall, he joined by his parents, along with his older brother and sister. He particularly looked up to his older brother, who was a good hunter and knew all the tricks of how to get what he wanted when interacting with people. Koru'jik never paid much attention to his elder sister, who was often left to her own devices.

During his time on the Echo Isles, he truly felt as though he was leading a real life, and developing himself. He began to grow more independent and learned to rely on himself more than anyone else. When his sister headed to the mainland, she never came back. Koru'jik would often sit on the beach and ponder what was out there, wondering if she found a better life away from the Isles. It was only after leaving the Echo Isles and reaching the mainland and facing real threats that he learned what he excelled in: Stealth. Koru'jik doesn't entirely know when his skill was first discovered, but he's been working that way ever since, and he knows practice makes perfect.

He began to make the most of his talent for sneaking and ignoring the rules of conventional combat -- instead seeking out weaknesses and exploiting them without much honour -- while still maintaining a measure of respect for his opponent, as he realised quickly that underestimating -- and overestimating -- an opponent can lead to a quick demise. It was soon discovered by swashbucklers and privateers as they came to dock in Ratchet, or Booty Bay (he liked to travel between the two locations, particularly after he found his sea-legs) and one crew, the Crimson Coils, chose to take him in until he thought that either he or they decided against it.

During his adventures with the Crimson Coils, Koru'jik had many experiences and met many people. After said adventures, he came back to the Horde and, having found some members of the Alliance to be quite agreeable, went against their animosity towards such races. Although he never expressed his opinions vocally, he has a tendency to go out of his way in order to find a better life of what he hopes is a more colourful crowd -- like the Crimson Coils -- without the seasickness...
