Personality: Koren is a troubled Kaldorei. He always seems to be brooding and in his own little world, a dull character always in his own head. When around others he seems to study them in his mind, taking mental notes, everything is serious to him. Sometimes when he's too deep in thought he becomes careless about his words, not choosing them carefully in situations when thought is clearly needed.

However on those rare times when he's not in his mind, he's studying the other persons mind, if he truly is interested in them, or intimidated, he usually plans out his actions in advance. He naturally has a care for nature, embracing that the most. The only time he's ever truly at peace is when he's out in the forests. But even then when he's surrounded by nature, he still sits in his own mind. Always obsessing, always brooding. It's rare to see him smile or to get much positive emotion out of him, everything is serious to him.

History: Koren lived a quiet life in Ashenvale with his mother and father, he lived a peaceful life living in a small house in the woods, close to Astranaar. As a child he was nurtured and loved by his parents. His mother was a priest, his father a druid. Whenever his mother and father had time, they'd spend it with Koren, giving him the best childhood he could have. But even as it was going so well, it ended so abruptly.

As he hit the age of 60, his father left, he had to enter the dream, leaving him with his mother. Even though other druids were leaving their families for the dream, Koren's mother didn't take it too well. His father meant much to her, and she knew she was not going to see him for quite a while, for the years that pass his mother grew quiet, and soon enough Koren was the one looking after her, comforting her. His childhood ended fast as he gained responsibility, keeping his mother happy, always thinking about how she's feeling and making sure she could get through to the next day. While his mother was out doing her duties as a priest, he would sit at home, thinking of ways to challenge his mother and take her mind off of his father. He'd usually go out into the forest, sitting quietly on his own as he thinks.

The years passed and soon enough Koren hit the age of 100, for him his childhood ended years behind himself, his mothers attitude toward life only deteriorated more, however she never shirked off her duties as a priest, looking after those around her. And always when she returned home, Koren would be there with a comforting smile, always challenging her views on life. As years passed, Koren himself began considering a profession. And he knew already what he was aiming for. His eyes were amber, his father was a druid. So he would be the same, however he couldn't abandon his mother. More years passed and still his mothers attitude toward life continued to deteriorate, soon enough she was simply sitting at home, waiting for that day when his father would return, Koren always by her side. But he couldn't take it much longer. He couldn't stand to see his mother like this much more. His thoughts while on his own in the forest or at home was soon scattered, he started thinking about how it use to be, how -he- use to be, realizing his childhood didn't last as long as most of the other Kaldorei around him.

At the age of 250 he decided to leave and journey to Moonglade to seek out training. For the first time in his life, he made a childish decision and abandoned his mother. He knew she would be okay without him. Even when he explained what profession he had chosen and the path he was going to walk, he saw an approving smile on her face. Yet he knew it was fake, she was losing yet another of her family. Even on his journey to Moonglade he had doubt, at one point he was about to turn back. But he shrugged it off. He couldn't allow the burdens of his family to hinder his life much more.

He soon hit the age of 1,000 spending all his time in Moonglade, studying the path of a druid, spending his time in the emerald dream, but after 750 years of time spent training, he decided he'd return home to his mother to show her how much he had grown and what he had learned. But when he returned, it wasn't such a happy reunion, the house was empty, his mother gone. He soon learned that she had decided to help heal those fighting the orcs in Ashenvale and had put herself on the frontline. He asked about his father, but got no information on him. Koren spent the next few years, living alone in the house he was raised in, remembering the memories he had with his mother and father, remembering the day his father left. The day he had to throw away his childhood... And the day he made his first childish decision in such a long time.

He felt hatred and anger, not only against his father but against himself. But he knew he shouldn't feel hatred, his father was doing what he could to help his race, and Koren couldn't sit around forever looking after his mother. Soon enough that house was too much for him, the memories in it only serving as a reminder of how fast his life went. So he left, his mind filled with thoughts, as always. Even in training, in the back of his mind, he thought about his mother, the decisions he had made, he obsessed over them. So now he travels, to learn about other races and other things in the world, trying to keep his mind occupied.
