Personality: Knirk is an Orc, and he is proud of being one. He is kind to others, as long as they are members of the Horde. He is very inexperienced in battle, as his task is to supply the Horde with hide and food. He is closely attached to his pet boar, which is currently his best friend.

History: Knirk grew up with his father and sister in one of the Alliance's prison camps. Once freed, his father could train him and his sister with bows, it took a few years, but he got the hang of it after a while. He later received training in melee weapons – his father had to make sure his son could defend himself and his pride, even though their family was poor. He later left his parents home in Razor Hill to go hunting alone for the first time, earlier he had only been hunting with his father or sister.

Knirk was on the way to the Barrens travelling west from Razor Hill, to kill a kodo so he could take its horn and show it off to his friends back in Razor Hill. He was attacked by a wild boar after stepping on its tail accidentally. At the same time, a raptor, which was about only ten metres away heard the boar grunting, and the boar was attacked. Knirk, not thinking clearly, had thrown his axe at the boar, but hit the raptor instead. The raptor, wounded in the side then fled, and the boar chased after it. When the raptor was gone, the Boar returned to Knirk to deal with him, but instead of attacking Knirk, it became his loyal boar companion. Instead of having a huge kodo-horn to show off, he impressed his friends with a ferocious boar.

After Knirk's sister found out Knirk had found a friend in the boar, she left her family in Durotar, travelling to the Eastern Kingdoms only leaving behind a note saying that she wanted to fire her arrows at something else than animals, such as elves and dwarves. She took a zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Tirisfal Glades and then joined up with a small crew of other orcs, trolls and one Forsaken.

Reaching his twenties, Knirk often hunted in the wildernesses in Kalimdor, but not too far from Durotar. His boar companion had the task of chasing down the prey to tire it out, so Knirk could fire an arrow without hitting something else (like a huge bear), and carrying the prey back to Orgrimmar.

Now, at an age at 23, his boar companion is growing old. The once pitch-black fur of the beast is now lighter, and the boar is not in the best shape It was when it met Knirk. Knirk realizes he needs new friends, companions and/or partners. This could be called his “friend hunt”.
