Appearance

Animal hides and pelts decorate this shaman's body. He does not believe in the use of the heavy armor; to Ali it is a coward's thing to hide behind metal rather than flesh or hides. On the other hand Khal'Ali will never wear cloth, save for wool, unless it is required for a ceremonial event.

Other: Having seen many changes in his days, Khal'Ali refuses to bend to new traditions after the Orcs went back to the old and honorable ways with the New Horde. It is evident by his customs regarding his personal honor and the honor of his comrades. As humble as he tries to seem, age forbids it. He is nearly an elder and his body is already considered too aged to fight on the frontlines without slowing down the grunts. He is known to break into fits of coughs and will hunch over in bone-aches. His pride will not allow most people to help him though. He knows he is growing old and weak, but he feels he has no excuse to be weak for he is a proud Orc.

Alignment: Neutral

Personality

He is a traditional kind of shaman, and lets off a humble nature. Often he will give titles to those around him without their consent or without care of their feelings towards such a title. Khal'Ali seems more happy with meditating around stones or trees than being forced to attend a social gathering. Even when in such positions he'll often be relaxed.

History

He reveals little of his history to strangers, but this is not due to any sort of shame, but due to the fact that he feels it a private issue. He was born during the time of the horde. As a child he was groomed to learn that Draenei were the disgusting and vile beasts who long to take the Orcish culture from his clan. When he reached the age of 20 he naturally went into the fighting effort. Like many orcs during this time, rather than be a Shaman, he was a warlock and thought nothing of it. It was only but a few years had he crossed the portal and found himself fight. He views it a miracle that he survived two wars on these foreign lands before he was able to retire. Retirement wasn't all he thought it to be, as he was in the internment camps. Often he was called a “shaman” in the derogatory sense during this time due to his tales he'd tell and the advise he'd lazily try to give his lethargic brothers. Around the formation of The New Horde Ali felt the shamanistic primal feeling surge though him. It was as if he became all-but a new man. The brothers who once mocked him came to him for advise. He took only one apprentice during their escape to freedom, a young man named Ghan. Ghan kept at Ali's side during most of the third war, where Ali mainly served as a healer, but was slain during the struggle with Grom's red-brothers. Ali wandered alone after the report of his apprentice's death. Seemingly he's been distant with the people and more in tune with the land and nature.
