Personality

Ketkos is a stubborn and foul-mouthed dwarf that will outright insult his opponents before bashing them in the kneecaps. He tends to not heed the advice of anyone when it comes to issues of combat. He reveres both his ancestors and the shamanistic values of the Wildhammers. Family honor means everything to Ketkos, in his eyes nothing is worse than insulting one's immediate family.

History

Ketkos was born in the mountains of the Hinterlands, his mother a seamstress and his father a gryphon rider. For most of his life he lived and breathed battle, training as much as his body could endure so that one day he could make his aging father proud. The first tragedy of his life occurred at the age of eight when his mother perished from a flu. Both he and his father were devastated greatly by the loss. A few years later some of that void was filled when he was given the right to choose a baby gryphon of his own. He spent long evening hunting and training with his gryphon, occasionally his father would join them but as he entered old age those times became less and less frequent. Around them time that Ketkos would finally be of age his father passed away of -his- age. "Life seems to be a fan o' grim irony." Is what Ketkos commented at the funeral. Nothing else that has existed between them in life needed to be said.

For the next few years the house felt empty, his routine was simple and each night he would stare at the family hammer the hung above the fireplace and think about all the experiences that his ancestors before him had gone through with it. When the Dark Portal reopened it was finally time for Ketkos to take up the hammer and participate in the destruction of the Burning Legion and the war against the Lich King after that. With the Lich king dead he was free to go about traveling the world in search of worthy opponents to test his skills. He found one such opponent in Stranglethorn, a dwarf with a head made of solid steel. Ketkos was sorely outmatched though, and received horrible bodily injuries to his family jewels, ribcage and skull. A forsaken surgeon added a skull plate and support rods for his ribs but made him half a man in the process, his current goal is to bash that Forsaken's kneecaps in.
