Personality

Kelar is a very blunt and energetic man, a lot like the element he chose to control. He's always asks questions directly, never being sarcastic or 'beating around the bush' and always enjoy a good conversation. Along with being very blunt, some would describe him as hyperactive and maybe mad at times. Jumping from topic to topic at lightning speed and asking the weirdest questions at the weirdest times.

Kelar's also very eager, joining on every opportunity to have a good adventure, party, meeting or even just a walk to the woods, he enjoys everything. Being a mage, he finds magic and all it's forms amazingly fascinating. He'll harass other mages, warlocks, priests, paladins and even druids to tell him about their different style of magic.

History

Kelar was born in a peaceful and calm age to a high class family of magisters and Farstriders, yet not nobles. He was raised in Silvermoon for a long part of his life, being presented with two choices of life, one of a hunter and one of a mage. Kelar chose the path of the mage with no hesitation, completely adoring magic and all it's variations and finding it the most interesting aspect of his life.

Kelar was raised over the course of many years, training with his mother on how to become a mage. His mother, being a magister that favored fire over most of the elemental options in arcane magic, taught him what she knew in the art of controlling fire and using it as a weapon. He was overjoyed to learn to control magic in any form or way and even more happy to learn to control and manipulate flame. While being taught how to use the element of fire, he was never taught how to manipulate arcane to simulate other elements and remained as what one would call a Pyromancer.

From a young age it was really easy to notice Kelar wasn't as society would expect him to be. He was always restless and hyperactive, running from place to place and jumping from task to task in lightning speed. His way of thought was also different than most people's, looking at every aspect as in depth as he can and not being afraid to ask the awkward questions when needed, and even when not needed. Some would say it's a trait that runs in their family line, his father being similar to him in that aspect, but in Kelar's case it was the worst, or best, it had ever gotten in their family.

As the years came and went, Kelar grew more powerful and was close to finishing his studies in the path of fire. Along with that, he grew more and more different with the years, as if his magic studies making him more and more blunt and energetic. He was finally able to fight in the army of the high elves in the second war, being amazingly eager to do so, he did. After the battle was won Kelar grew eager to fight more and study more about his powers and other forms of magic that inhabit Azeroth, being inspired from some of the other mages and priests he fought along-side with.

When Kelar returned to Silvermoon and to his trainings, a fatal accident occured. He was practicing a certain powerful fire spell that backfired with very cataclysmic results. It was a large boulder of arcanic fire that was hurled towards Kelar's mother in mistake, not seeing his mother around, or over the large boulder, Kelar set it loose without knowing what would happen. His mother, being the more trained mage, managed to shatter the boulder to bits with one of her own, yet the impact sent a blast wave of flames and heat towards the two, causing some minor burns and scorching around both their bodies.

A few years passed and Kelar continued his trainings, recovering from the mental shock the accident in his training gave him. On one fateful day, Arthas and his army invaded Silvermoon while Kelar was on one of his usual walks around Quel'thalas. He heard the horrible screams and sounds of war and rushed into Silvermoon only to see it in ruins under the armies of the undead. He fled to the forest and hid there until the scourge left his land, trying to survive off what he knows and what he had. He came across a few other elves that took him into their encampment, spending his time with them instead of out in the wild for the most part because he could not bare being alone for so long.

When the sunwell was destroyed Kelar suffered from a terrible case of magic drawback, like most elves. He almost went insane trying to do anything in his power to make the feeling go away. He returned to the ruins of Silvermoon with his friends only to find out that his father has been murdered, his mother however, has not. He moved in to live with her, both suffering from a horrible magic withdrawl and slowly going more and more out of their minds from it.

As the now proclaimed blood elves returned from the outlands and brought the fel crystals to Silvermoon, Kelar was finally relieved to end his magic thirst with the use of fel energy, painting his eyes green in the process. Kelar was fascinated by the new form of energy that was brought from the Outlands. He started studying it, questioning the newly met warlocks to no end until he got his questions answered. The warlocks were really annoyed with him, to say the least, banning him from returning to the warlock sanctum unless he keeps his mouth shut.

As the years went by and Kelar grew older, he made new friends and new enemies with his attitude. He chose to remain in Silvermoon with his mother, seeing as it was his birthplace and study place. When the blood elves joined the horde Kelar didn't seem to mind too much other than his growing interest in the shamanistic and druidic tauren, giving him another path of magic to study and find interest in.

When the sunwell was purified Kelar was relieved of his terrible withdrawl, lifting a great weight off his shoulders but only to show him he was now addicted to fel energy. Kelar finally finished his studies as a fire mage and grew to be a very odd man, some would say. Currently residing in Silvermoon and harassing all its inhabitants with countless questions, a fiery passion for meeting new people and his never resting attitude.
