However, she has a vicious temper, though it's somewhat difficult to set her off. She is very driven, and she tries to live up to her father's legacy as an airship pilot.

History

Kasimira was born in Southshore. Her mother died in childbirth, much to the distress of her father. Not long after Kasimira was born, she and her father moved to Dun Morogh, living in a house in Kharanos. Her father had been a blacksmith in Southshore, but there was little demand for his trade in the dwarven town, so he instead took on tutelage in engineering with gnomes and dwarves in the area. He gradually became involved as a mechanic.

By the time Kasimira was old enough to run around on her own, her father had gained interest in the gnomish and dwarven flying machines, amazed by their ability to fly despite being entirely nonmagical. He trained as a pilot among his colleagues. With nobody else to take care of Kasimira at home, he took her with him, and she learned how to fly alongside him. While she wasn't old enough to put any of her knowledge into practice, she was fascinated by the whole process, writing down preflight checklists in a big book as her father went through them. As she grew older, her father took her flying with him, and he became well-respected as a pilot. She wanted to become an airship pilot like him.

Kasimira's father served in the Third War, and went to Northrend with Arthas's forces. Unfortunately, he was slain in battle there. Kasimira was devastated. With no other family to rely on, she was forced to live on her own; her father's friends helped to keep her on her feet, but for the most part, she was forced to be self-sufficient.

With the foundation already set for her to fly, actual flying came to Kasimira with relative ease. She started working with airships at a young age, when she was only ten years old. For a short while, she did odd jobs to make what little money she could, until the onset of puberty, when she began to develop magical prowess. Unnoticed by the Kirin Tor, and unable to afford a proper magical tutor, she received only rudimentary training as a mage; she was left to figure the rest out on her own. She used magic to help her with her engineering more than anything else. The prospect of a fireball or a frostbolt never occurred to her.

Over time, with experimentation and study, Kasimira managed to apply her magic directly to her airship, enchanting it with components to allow it to resist the pull of gravity. Her unique style and approach to technology drew the attention of the minds of the Alliance's military. She was enlisted as a courier at the age of seventeen, carrying messages or cargo between bases during the Alliance's operations in Northrend. She rarely participated in even a remotely combative role.

Kasimira currently works in a more independent role as a courier, working for anyone that will hire her.
