Personality

Mostly quiet except for when spoken to, or when he comments on a situation to himself in Taurahe. Generally kind to folks even though he may absentmindedly bump into someone and not say anything.

Kardec is accepting if not at least somewhat friendly to almost every race except for centaur. Though he does not approve of the general actions of dwarves, gnomes, and goblins he tries to ignore personal feelings in order to have more 'friendly' relations, preferring to avoid unnecessary conflict.

He believes he can honor the Earth Mother and at the same time turn a profit. Even if profit cannot be found he will still try to do what he can to honor the Earth Mother.

Kardec rarely shares his name unless he is asked specifically, or if he happens to have saved someones life, which happens rarely.

History

Kardec was born into the world as a calf of the Lighthoof tribe. It could be seen even very early on that Kardec seemed to lack the certain spark seen in those that were Druids and Shamans.

Due to his apparent ineptness at being either a druid or a shaman it was decided Kardec was to be raised as a hunter. He taught to develop both his patience and his wit when tracking his prey or the kodo herds, ultimately being able to go longer than a month doing so if the need was there.

As a calf Kardec was taken out to hunt throughout much of Kalimdor; from the south in Thousand Needles to as far north as some regions in Ashenvale. He learned to hunt many types of prey and learn many of their habits in order to learn to better track them or know if there might be any nearby.

It is said that Kardec once fell a Kodo with two shots from his gun. Whether this is truly that great a feat is left to question, however this was one highlight of Kardec's fairly plain existence as a calf. This event marks why Kardec chose the name Thunderpaw when he came of age. It was at this point that Kardec left the tribe to hunt on his own.

Kardec spent much of the rest of his years until now hunting the beasts of The Barrens and Thousand Needles; however he has made trips to other places such as Stranglethorn Vale and Tanaris.

Kardec in most recent times spends most of his time training his pet bear "Dog" to assist him in his tracking and hunting. In addition, recently he risked life and limb to bring a night elf that had barely survived an orc attack to safety, while risking his own to bring the elf close to the human settlement of Northwatch Hold.
