Personality

Karagis thinks that honor is the most important value one could ever have. He is brutal in battles, even though he fights with honor and never uses any 'tricks' to finish the battle faster. He is loyal to the Horde and would give his own life for it. Being made for war, like almost all the other orcs, Karagis wades into his foes fearlessly, providing a shining example of what an orc should be. He distrusts the Horde's new allies (The Forsaken and the Blood Elves) and is not afraid to show this towards them because he is still insecure of their plans. He is hard-headed and would always voice his disagreements with something, with no hesitation. Another effect of his hard-headed way of living is that he would be the first to resort to violence in almost any case.

History

Karagis was born with the Warsong and raised by his father that was a strong blademaster. He lived in temporary camps for all his childhood, having his father around that trained him on the run from the humans in order to avoid being captured and put into an internment camp. After watching his father fighting with a small group of humans that wanted to kidnap him, Karagis decided to do his best and try to become a blademaster, just like his father.

When Karagis was about nine years old, his father left him to go with Thrall to free the other Orcs from the internment camps. Since the day his father left, Karagis has always been striving to become a blademaster and to do a great deed that will certainly grant him a surname he would be proud of. He refuses to see his father until he becomes a fierce blademaster and attain an outstanding surname because he wants to prove that he can also be regarded as a formidable opponent by his enemies.

Being unable to train by his own, Karagis was desperate. He felt defeated and was forced to wait until an orc named Krukthak Gnashfang found him and promised that he will train him until he fulfills his dream to become a blademaster. Krukthak is an outstanding fighter with a blazing speed and powerful hits. Karagis later discovered that Krukthak was sent by his father to train him in his absence. Krukthak had a strong connection with the elements, especially with the wind. He could be seen meditating very often so he could prove to the elements that he is worth of using their vast powers.

A few years after his father left him, Karagis tried to get in touch with the element of fire as he was seeking for power and he was told by his new trainer that only the elements could offer him the power he was looking for. Inexperienced and still unskillful, he was unable to establish a connection with the fire element but kept his head up and did not back down until the element finally responded and blessed him with a fire enchant on his blade. After being granted the enchant, he was told by Krukthak to keep communing with the spirits, but Karagis was too iresponsible by that time and, as a result, he lost the connection with the element of fire very soon. Krukthak was very angry with him after that and made him go through a new trial in order to find the wind element. Karagis felt miserable after realising the mistake he made by not communing with the other element and finally cleared his mind and meditated until the wind granted Karagis a part of it's power. After he gained the trust of the element of wind, Karagis promised to his trainer that he will keep in touch with the wind so he will be granted more power by it.

Krukthak told Karagis that they must travel so he would learn even more from the places they will visit, gain more experience from his incoming encounters and improve his skills and abilities by training and meditating each day. Karagis accepted Krukthak's plan because he trusted him and so Krukthak keeps training him until he decides that Karagis is prepared for the final trial, consisting in a match between him and his 'apprentice' in which he will see whether Karagis needs to be trained even more or not.
