Personality

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Kaia isn't the most...patient of all elves, more along the lines of 'Do it here and now!' Than plan. However, if you've seen her hunt, it's almost the exact opposite. She is (usually) calm and collected as she aims down the barrel of a rifle at a nearby beastie. She assumes everyone is good and nice until proven otherwise, making her social life..a bit difficult. Her stunted growth had taken a toll on her, making her fast and agile, but frail and weak in pure strength.

She realizes this and always tries to talk things out before getting into a fight. But when she does fight, her, so to speak, 'Hunter Mode' kicks in (Adrenaline) and she always pulls out her rifle to quickly aim and fire off a shot. With her impatience and curiosity, her attention span isn't exactly very long. Except of course, when she's hunting. Socially, she's kind of inept, but when she has her mind set on something, she's going to give it her all.

History

Early Life/Childhood

Kaia was born into a nice happy family living in Feralas, fifteen years after her sister, Lilium. Her childhood days were filled with laughter and little games of skill out in the wild with her sister as their parents bought and traded with others. Kaia wasn't too interested in that, so she and Lili would go out on little adventures and have fun! One day, their dad had left to go do business, so Kaia and Lilium did what they always did to pass time. An innocent game of hide-and-seek.

"Kaia, c'mon slowpoke!" Lilium had yelled as they head into the forest to play yet another game of hide and seek, Kaia trying her best to keep up with her sister. It wasn't fair! She was older! Of course she was faster.. Kaia had thought, pouting slightly but rushing along anyway. "I am!" She yelled back, giggling slightly anyway. Besides, it was finally -her- time to be it! Lilium had to have been cheating somehow... always found her within minutes. "Alright!" She closes her eyes, resting her head on a tree, counting down from thirty, smiling. Lilium had sprinted off into the forest, knowing exactly where she was going.

"One...Zero!" She looks up, and around before finding what seemed to be her tracks and chasing after them..in the opposite direction Lilium had run off to. After a good hour had passed, Kaia had been looking around in this enclosing forest, everything looking the same, she had taken so many twists and turns.. She had no idea where she was.

"L..Lilium? ..." She looks around, worried. A low growl was replied, her eyes went wide as she turns to see a night saber jumping from it's cover, trying to pounce Kaia. She let out a scream before kicking at it and barely slipping from under it, lucky to have such a nimble and lithe body. A few scratch marks and a large bleeding bite on her arm. Kaia looks around, tears stinging her eyes as she sprints off, looking for her sister, terrified to try and call out again. Everything didn't seem so fun and happy anymore, she just wanted to go home. Climbing a sizable tree before resting against it, cradling her bleeding arm as she sniffles, trying to cover the wound as she waited it out. About an hour later, Lilium had found her, tracking her down as she spots the paler Kaia, immediately taking her back to the house to treat the wound. "I...I don't want to play anymore Lili..." Kaia mumbles, her vision blurry, as Lilium took her back.

Afterward, she had never really left her sister's side, the aspect of being alone scaring her, still staying with her during her adult years. This incident has scarred Kaia mentally, she now subconsciously tries to dis-associate with nature, leaning more to the technology side of life. Still not completely rejecting it, but not exactly revering nature either.

Third War to Present Day

The scarring had become apparent once they were older and coming through the town was an eccentric traveling human, bringing along with him a few odds and ends of engineering. Little toys and creatures made from colorful metals and wiring. Kaia had found these odd little wonders of engineering interesting and caused her to try it out on her own, getting a few lessons from the odd man before the war had started. Kaia and Lilium had stayed back during the war, staying on the isle as it was being fought. It had been an odd feeling...losing her immortality, a feeling as if something near and dear had been missing, it never leaving her as the world tree had been lost.

Kaia and Lilium had become respectable hunters, Lili the tracker as Kaia always seemed to know where to shoot the beast .After being taught how to tame an animal, Kaia had been around the Azuremyst Isle's, helping the Draenei as best she could, when she laid her eyes on one of the mystical beasts of the land. A...giant moth... She couldn't help but see if it was friendly and it had actually been pretty docile already. After a year of bonding with the moth, training it, knowing it's weak-points and it's strong points, Kaia had made a new animal friend and a valuable protector, along with her sister.

Now, after the war had ended, since she could now travel with her sister, she's found that gnomes are the primary source of all the little engineering things and ideas. She's had a few lessons and tries to get more as she goes on in life, loving the little gizmos and gadgets she could make. Still not rejecting nature, she tries her best to make her little creations run off of other resources and not cause too much pollution.

Afterward, Lilium and Kaia had been a part of the Northwind Expedition, exploring Northrend and all it's beauty, amazed by the flora as well as the wild-life. But sadly the trip was a lot shorter than they expected. Now they both work on trying to get the resources to go to Northrend again, Kaia -insisting- that they wouldn't need other people, but Lili doesn't seem to care.

As Deathwing's arrival hit, Kaia and Lili were quickly separated, the collected gold quickly spent trying to escape the chaos that ensued Cataclysm, both sisters forced to go separate ways as they were apart when it hit. Now Kaia is basically on the hunt for her own sister, rather terrified and lonely without Lilium there to protect her.
