Personality

Although a generally antisocial and emotionally-distanced person, thus a repressed cynicism towards all beings, he is plagued with wanderlust and shuns any personal attachment to other beings. As a result he excessively comes off as a distanced, lonely Elven being. But from one standpoint or another, Kaedor is a generally good person as soon as this layer of isolationism is surpassed.

History

Born approximately one thousand, one hundred-twelve years ago in one of the isolated corners of Ashenvale, Kaedor grew up amoungst a small Kaldorei village, his childhood being relatively peaceful.

At the age of eighteen, however, he left for more Northern Kaldorei lands, becoming curious with the art of Druidism, he confronted one of the trainer's, but swiftly changed his mind, as he thought this field would not please his life desires. A month later he became interested in pursuing the path of the Wild, wanting to tame beasts and the alike, soon after he changed his mind on this, feeling increasingly dissatisfied with the field. He began to observe the sentinels, their ways of life fascinating him.

A state of wanderlust hit him, he quickly found out that he was bored with his life. His boredom was quickly overcome when he finally found a mentor, a nameless Kaldorei female whom sympathized with his dissastisfaction with life and offered to train him how to use a sword, while this didn't change much, he found he had something to look forward to. This was all of course changed when the Legion came, a few centuries more or less later.

His mentor, having enlisted in the military, went off to war. Whilst injured from one of the skirmishes involving the Legion and Alliance and Night Elves, Kaedor's mentor was captured and believed to be dead, when conferred about this from his peers he seemed dispassionate. Kaedor snuck off from his home in Ashenvale that evening, (Even though Kaldorei are nocturnal) whilst snooping throughout the forest, he stumbled upon the very encampment his mentor happened to be imprisoned in. He caught sight of the cage she was in, hope hitting him stronger than ever as he attempted to free her. At that instant a sudden onslaught commenced onto the outpost. The tide of battle was initially in the sentinel's favor, but they were no match for the demonic Legion, with the battle raging on none took notice of Kaedor or the prisoners as they called a retreat, the very instant Kaedor decided to slit the throat of his friend. Several days passed as his state of mind hit a numb, defeatist grief. And to this day his guilt scourges him.

Years passed, he found himself caught with wanderlust, as new alliances and faction-friendships opened up new opportunities, and so he took advantage of these and begun to explore the World, returning to Ashenvale every so often.
