Personality

Kachity is a rather conflicted -though perhaps not consciously- individual. She is, in fact, as selfish as selfish can be a lot of the time. This in itself is a personality trait that she is somewhat aware of, and she does not, however, truly enjoy this fact about herself, though she views it as a necessity, as the trait has assisted her through some rather rough times, and as such, will only reign it in some of the time. The woman will, in fact, view her thievery, swindling, and other actions as "fair play" if she feels the "victim" has done anything at all to deserve such treatment. She generally does play fair, in some respects, though. This shows itself in how she is generally loose with her money, so long as she gets her drink as well.

History

Kachity was born and grew up, for the most part, in Gilneas. Her father was a fairly respected merchant, and her mother stayed at home. She grew up on a rather stern and rough upbringing, learning to be self sufficient from about age ten, and, as such, choosing to rely on herself and only herself from about there on out, whilst still living with her parents.

Even as a young girl, she had an affinity for two things. Money, and things that did not belong to her. She would often filch items from around the house, small things that she thought were "pretty" or such, and would then either hide them, or sell or trade them among the other children, thinking of it as little more than a game. This grew over time, into an ever more complex and dangerous game, especially after she realized that valuable things taken from other people could be sold for money. That, in itself, opened her "game" up to a host of new possibilities, and the hobby of thievery stemmed from it.

She lived with her parents in a smallish home throughout her younger years, learning business from her father when she could, and growing wiser and stronger with each passing day, supported by her father's business and trade dealings with Loraderon. She believed, to some childish extent, that that money would always be there, and as such, was rather spoiled in her younger teenage years, though that's not to say she was ignorant of the hardships around her, but, for the most part, she just didn't really feel the need to care.

Kachity's life, however, took a rather rough turn when she was about twenty. Her father died of illness and old age, and her mother, barely able to support herself, forced the young woman from their home with enough savings to get her along for about a month on her own. This was like a light flicking on for the young Gilnean, showing her the true unfairness of the world, and, to some smaller extent, revealing her own foolishness to the woman's eyes.

Kachity then traveled, learning as much as she could in order to survive. First to Loraderon, which she never really took a liking to, then on to Stormwind, where she began living in an inn and took odd jobs for the next few years, which were rather uneventful for her. Wars never really sunk and so she lived in a blissful ignorance, in some ways. In others, she still saw every bitter punch the world threw, taking a special dislike to taxes and poverty.

Her filching and thieving skills did not go unused in this time, though. In addition to her errand running, she still kept up a reasonably small income on the side through various means. Pickpocketing, snatching an extra _____ or two from the crate she carried and selling it, and the like, she made her way in surviving through the world.
