History

The cold winds blew and the rain poured as the boat rocked back and forth. The ship coming from Dustwallow marsh had finally arrived to Menthil Harbor. As a family leaves the boat, the father, Gendal Williams, pays thirty silver coins to the ship master and leaves the boat to catch up with his wife, Melina.

"How's the child, honey?" Asked Gendal.

"He's doing fine.. Just look at him.. Smiling away with our damned money we spent, along with our time.." She replies.

The baby looks up at Gendal and smiles, laughing as he sees the baby observing the area, with a smile. He picks up the baby from his wife's arms and turns around and around, playing with the baby, holding it above his head.

"Have you thought of a name yet?" He asks.

"No.."

"I don't do well with names, you name him."

"That's what you always say when you meet somebody and forget their name when you meet them again! Give me another excuse that works, then maybe I'll name him!"

"Fine! Don't need to be on my behind, Melina! Hmm.."

"Well that's because your always thinking about the baby and not about me! Ever since this thing ca-"

"That's enough about the child! Do not bad mouth him.. He is only a baby and he is -your- baby as well.."

Gendal looks around him, viewing different objects in the town. He decides to look for clues that may give him an ideal name for the child. He looks around and sees a wall that help wanted names. He sees his wife is looking at a stand, outside the inn, that had potions. He turns back and reads a couple of names off the wall.

"Joseph... Mot'huk... Lendy... Jebidiah... Judnim... Endsil... Oh, I know! If I mix Jud and then mix around with Endsil.. Oh!!! I'll take the first letters of Judnim and mix it with Endsil, Juden!"

He pokes the baby in the stomach and he giggles. "How about I name you Juden!"

His wife turns around and goes back to Gendal. "Have you chosen a name yet, Glendal?"

He nods, "Yes.. His name is Juden Williams."

His wife nods with approval and leads him toward the gates of the town, "Come on now! We must hurry before the winter winds hit!"

Glendal and Melina both have large wool coats, and the baby is wrapped in a wool cape. Glendal quickly writes 'Juden Williams' on a sheet of paper from his bag, and places it inside the cape. "Just in case we forget your name!" He laughs and runs to catch up with Melina.

Glendal and Melina are about to leave the bridge to cross into the Wetlands when a man in dark clothing approaches them. Melina looks worried as Glendal puts her behind him. "What do you want, sir.."

The man in the dark clothes beckoned to the family. "Do you need a guide out of these marshessss.. I do know the way to the capital city of Ironforge.. If you pay me.. Of coursssse.."

Glendal narrowed his eyes down on the man, "Why would you want to help us.. We obviously look poor.. And we don't have much money.." He nods, "I just feel like... Being.. Kind... Are you going to take my offer.. Or no..?"

Glendal looks at his wife with a saddened face, and whispers, "I'm not sure where to go.. And I think we need protection.. If we look like we gave him all our money, then I think he'll takes us without harming any of us. Be strong okay, Melina?"

Melina nods quietly, obviously afraid.

Glendal approaches the man and hands him twenty silver pieces, "This is all we have, sir.. Will it be enough..?" The man nods slowly then beckons them to follow.

After a while they finally leave the Marshlands and then enter Loch Modan. Glendal and his wife are both fascinated to see such a place. They finally stop and make camp with the man. They make a campfire with the surrounding dead twigs and large wood, and start to cook some boar meat, which Glendal had caught before they set camp. The baby began to cry, wanting food, making Melina angry. "Stop crying already! Do you have to be so ann-" Glendal stops her, frowning. "He's still a baby.. Relax yourself, Melina.." She grunts and looks away, then looks angrily at the baby, "He always thinks about you!"

He hands some meat to his wife and cuts smaller pieces for her to chew so the baby can eat something. "Want some?" He asks the man.

He shakes his head and just leans back on a tree, sleeping.

"I still don't trust him.." Whispers Melina.

"I don't think he'll do anything.. He was nice enough to lead us here anyways.."

They both eventually fall asleep with the child.

The next morning Melina wakes up to see the black cloaked man standing over her husband. Her eyes widen as she sees a knife covered with blood and grasping Glendal's neck collar of his shirt. She kicks him in the shin and falls over, cursing as he goes down. All of a sudden she hears, "What did you do that for, Melina!" Surprised she looks at Glendal, who is not dead, but alive and well.

"I-I-I thought he killed you!" She screamed.

"No! He was checking if I was fine! I was attacked by a wolf and he helped kill it!"

She covers her mouth with her hand and runs with the baby in her arm to apologize to him. He just waves a hand and says, "It's understandable.. Don't worry about it.."

They continue their journey and then enter Dun Morogh. As they enter it begins to snow. They continue to walk through shin high snow and make their way to Ironforge. They keep walking until they came near Kharonos. The shrouded man stops, surprising the other two. He suddenly turns and faces them. "Thisss iss.. Where... I ssstop.. My journey... And.. Sssso does yourss.." Glendal and Melina look at him oddly, but their jaws drop as he pulls down his hood. The man had a evil grin and scars running down his face, revealing a dagger as well... It was a nightmare.. Melina was right.. He was a thief!

He charges at Glendal and he stops the blade as it comes near his face, they both fell into the snow. "Run, Melina! Get the guards in that town and get back! Hurry!" She begins to run, but the thief throws a knife, which he produced from his leg, at Melina. She tries to dodge it, but takes a strike in her back. She stumbles, but runs nonetheless. "Melina!!" Glendal shoves the person off of him. He jumps on top of the man and begins to beat on his already plagued face. "Die! Just die!" The man stabs one of his fingers into Glendal's eye, and he screams, walking backwards as he does so. Suddenly everything turned black for him. He vaguely sees the man walking to catch up with the woman as he spins a dagger in his hand, whistling. He falls into the snow and feels something go deeper into into his back. He now knows he got stabbed and cries. "I'm s-sorry Melina... I co-couldn't protect you.. What ki-kind of husband am I.." He sees the snow around him go red and he smiles.. "Live Melina.. Live.. Juden.. I know you can.."

Melina calls out to one of the guards, the mountaineer turns to see a woman holding a child and a deadly-looking man chasing close behind her with a knife. He drops to one knee and holds his gun, flipping up the iron sights and aims down at the thief. "Enemy spotted! Get yer arses down here now people! We have a female Human in need!" He fires and hits the Undead in the chest, making him turn around and try to run away, seeing the woman useless now. The mountaineer chases the thief as a group of Dwarves come to help Melina. They speak rather loudly and take her into the inn. They lay her on a bed and remove the dagger, making a disgusting sound as it flies out. They call the priest in and he puts his hand on the wound. "I can heal her.. But I won't be able to bring her blood back, so I'm going to do this as quickly as I can." He begins to chant and his hands glow yellow. The wound heals and slowly comes together. The skin looks as if it begins to stitch itself together, slowly becoming itself, repaired. The priest wipes his forehead, "Done.. Let her rest.. And take that child.. It needs some food and milk."

A few days later, Melina speaks desperately to the Dwarves about her husband. "I'm sorry miss, but we didn' find his body! It's ain' possible! Calm yer head down, and just take care of yer kid!" She broke down and cracked. She looked at her child and began to blame him. "It's all your fault... All your damned fault... If we didn't have you.. We would still be in Theramore Isle! Why did we even leave!" She began to spit things out harshly. "Adventure? Your dad wanted adventure.. To show you the damned world! Now this is what happens.. It's all your damned fault!" She now wanted something to comfort her, anything. She looked around, desperately. As food was brought, she hogged it all to herself, eating it all and leaving none for the baby, relying on the food to make her calm and happy. Three days has passed until the baby finally began to cry and the Dwarf inn keeper came in, "What's happenin'? What are ya doin?!" He sees Melina in the corner eating all the food to herself, even the one meant for the baby. She ravages on the food, and then yells, "Take this.. Thing... Away from me! I don't want it anymore! Damned thing killed my husband! Ruined it all for me!" She was about to strike at the baby when the inn keeper shoved her away. he picks up the baby and backs towards the doorway. "You crazy, bastard! Why the hell are ya tryin' to kill yer baby! Hoggin' all that food! Guards, take this damned crazy fool away! She don' belong to be this child's motha." He called the mountaineer to arrest her. "You'll never see this kid again!"

The inn keeper went into Ironforge, and went into the Tram. He made his way into the Dwarven district and into the Cathdral. There he went to the orphanage and gave the baby to Orphan Matron Nightingale. "Take this baby.. I came from Kharonos and I'm not going to take care of him.. Feed him and whatever.. His name is... Wait.." He looks into his wool clothing and searches for something, maybe something that would refer to his name, and finds a piece of paper. "Juden Williams.. That's his name." He Matron nods and takes the child, "I'll do my best, Dwarf."

As Juden made his life in the Orphanage, he would be known as a shy child, but would help people to the best of his abilities. He would often help the Cathedral, looking up to the Light, priests, and paladins. He cleaned the place often, and helped with setting up Sermons. He also helped around the Orphanage often, setting the tables, making the beds, and would often read. He was very shy, but had a great heart. At one time, he was told about his parents.. Of what they did.. Rather.. Just about his mother. He was told that she was kind.. And his father died to protect their lives, as did his mother. The same story of which many were told, but he knew it wasn't that. He knew it was different because if his father was strong.. Then he would not be shy, and as physically weak.

Years have past and now Juden is fifteen. He lived in the Cathedral for most of his life, in the orphanage and looked to the priests and paladins as role models and wanted to be one. The Matron lets him go and hopes him with the best of luck, giving him a backpack containing food an extra pair of clothing and some water in a skin pouch. He nods and hugs her tightly, "Thank you so much.. Thank you.." He heads up the stairs to the Cathdral. He bows to the guards in the front and enters the Cathedral. He walks to the nearby priest and goes on his knees, bowing his head, surprising him, "Ma- Can you ta-take me in as an acolyte.." The priest looks at him intriguingly and slowly nods, "Perhaps.. Do you believe in the Light?" He nods, "Yes.. I've worked here when I was just young and helped with the Orphanage as well.. I came from there.." The priest nods, "Ah yes.. I remember you.. Juden Williams, correct?" He nods, "Will you take me in, Priest Nathaniel?" He slowly nods. "You have the resolve.. I think I shall.. You helped the Cathdral, you helped your Matron and helped all those around you.. Yes, I -did- hear of your deeds, and so did everyone else.. I shall take you under me."

For years Juden has practiced under the light, and he defintely showed some, if not little potential. Juden learned the light slowly, but soon went to learn from a cleric that lived in Northshire. He learned the second half of the Light very well. He read books on the Light as he was a child, and still continued through his studies. He then was able to wield the light to protect others, to heal and protect them with a shield-like barrier. He was able to wield the Light very well at the age of twenty-eight and was finally sent to work under a stronger, higher level priest that lived outside of Stormwind.

The priest was going to teach how to resurrect a person, and show it to Juden. "I shall show you how to help... Revive a fallen ally. It is not as easy as you might think.. After you're done, you not only feel so tired you feel like you've been starved for weeks, you also feel tired mentally. I will show you, but only once.. I will become very tired.. So watch carefully.." The archbishop put a small rabbit on his table and put his hand on it. Light began to swarm around his hand. Juden was awed by his power and saw a bright looking object come down inside the rabbit. The rabbit eyes blinked and suddenly sprang into life. The priest nearly fell to the floor, but held the table for support. "You.. Shouldn't try yet.. But the promise you've shown.. Try it... Bring a dead rabbit.. Freshly killed.. And try it here.."

Juden brought back a rabbit, which he freshly killed with his dagger, stabbed in the heart, and tried to do the same. He chanted his own words, as if talking to the spirit, and the same light came down and it came into his hands, slowly going onto its wound. He continued to talk and the Light rhythmically kept coming down healing the rabbit. The rabbit suddenly sprang to life, hopping around. Juden fell to the floor, falling down and is nearly knocked out. Too tired for words, and too tired to get up, he just slept on the floor.

Five-years have passed and Juden has became a traveling priest. He is searching for new ways to heal and become a better person overall. He is also searching for a way to heal without the light so he could combine them together to create a better healing result. This is what he searches for, and he would travel over the world to find it. He continues to search, and at the same time, help any in need. But possibly.. He may turn over... If persuaded enough.
