Jidaeo looks similar to his older pictures, tan skin and long dark hair. His eyes are blue and his voice has the Death Knight's distorted echo. Jidaeo's clothing ranges from traditional elven garb, from red and gold cloaks, robes and other fine garments. If relaxed or studying he can be seen in loose fitting clothing from linen to silk, exposing his runes covering his body. His armor if going into heavy battle, is covered and etched in runes that glow in certain areas if casting that particular spell.

Personality

Jidaeo's mind has opened a bit further, and after the trials of being withdrawn and experiencing his family grow from a distance he appreciates his appearance returning. He still remains calm and observant and has a deep concern for his family as much as a Death knight can feel. Jidaeo also has a re-ignited connection with his Sin'dorei people as well as being mindful always of his undead state.

Jidaeo is analyzes most things he comes across, and is known to manipulate others to get what he wishes. Although he is trust worthy, he is driven to accomplish his own goals always. He is often perceived as stern, and hardly seems to have a sense of humor. He behaves much like an old noble, although a bit more cryptic due to his death knight nature. Since the return of his presentable appearance he has opened up a bit more in self expression ( if only a little ). He cherishes his family, although he can no longer adequately convey that to him.

History

Jidaeo was born a little over sixteen centuries ago, on the grounds of the Novalight estate in Eversong Forest. Jidaeo was named after one of the progenitors of the house, something that was forbidden for thousands of years. Because of this, while Jidaeo was younger he received mixed reactions from his family. His siblings didn't mind the name itself, but were aware of the favoritism he received for it. Growing up, Jidaeo and his siblings received tutoring on academics on the estate grounds, and were subliminally fed propaganda to put the family's needs first, over individual aspirations.

Jidaeo knew others didn't care for him because of his name, he still enjoyed hearing stories about him from his Uncle Diel'vani. His uncle was the twin brother of Jidaeo's father and Nova at the time; Razio Novalight. His Uncle told him stories of his progenitor and stories of crystal skulls, and artifacts which always fascinated the young elf. As he got older he watched his own father as Nova make transactions and business deals with different merchants and shady individuals in the estate. He always remained quiet but observed closely. In years to pass Jidaeo was sad to hear his Uncle Diel'vani was exiled from the family. He was believed to be giving off a poor image of the family with his stories of the skulls and was forced to leave.

Taking this the hardest, Jidaeo became a bit more focused on his studies and wandered the forest honing his skills as a hunter. Years later he found a bride whom he had fell in love with, another Noble from a House of Silvermoon. By this time Jidaeo had observed his family enough to know their crooked ways, but he also felt nothing would ever be done to change it. So after he married Cerice they moved to a private estate away from the series of buildings the housed the Nova and all of the branch families. After a few tours in the Troll wars, Jidaeo was appointed Nova XIII succeeding his father.

Over the next few hundred years, he had his first two children. Thalion and Alteryia, the eldest Thalion looked very much like his father and the two were close. Alteryia favored her mother and as the first daughter had much of what she wanted. As they grew up, Jidaeo and his eldest brother Riael joined the Farstriders. Despite being Nova at the time he joined out of his patriotism for his budding nation. Balancing being a Husband, Head of the House, Father and a Farstrider was difficult but rewarding. He eventually had two more children, Zariel and Xanthe.

As time progressed, Jidaeo prepared Zariel to succeed him as Nova sending him through training with different tutors on the many aspects of the position. He also set out to improve his arcane abilities under the tutelage of Reigen Sunfire. After many decades Zariel was ready and Jidaeo resigned for a spot on the family council as Zariel succeeded him as Nova XIV. Jidaeo remained on the council while fighting in the Troll wars, during the first two Azerothian wars. He also studied a bit of inscription and old texts in the libraries of Silvermoon. During the Third war, Jidaeo was far off in the woods heading for trolls when they were forced to turn back. When they arrived they battled the scourge while searching for his family who had already departed.

After reuniting with them he noticed his son mourning, Alteryia's presumed death. This sent him over the edge and he left with a few Farstriders to find his daughter and bring some kind of justice back to his people. Unbeknownst to the elf at the time, His own father Razio Novalight was plotting to take Jidaeo out of the council and replace him with his brother Renorien. As Jidaeo traveled distant lands with his farstriders they received instructions from others on how to adapt to their addiction. Shortly after they headed north, where they unfortunately came across a scourge convoy and a Lich. His group was slaughtered besides one remaining elf, who revealed he was sent by Razio Novalight to kill Jidaeo. Disturbed by the words, the shocked elf was quickly slain by the Lich and brought back to serve in the Lich King's army slaughtering hundreds under control.

After the events of Light Hope's Chappel, Jidaeo was freed from the Lich King's hold over his mind and began fighting along side the Ebon Blade in revenge against the scourge. Between attacks he would wander and try to remember his past and differentiate who he was from the nightmares he experienced. After some time he eventually returned to his family and began to integrate himself back in slowly, he was aware of their apprehension but felt in control of his urges. He began to curse the Lich King more, when his daughter Alteryia and his wife Cerice returned in the same state he was in. A part of him was happy his immortality wouldn't be experienced alone.

Jidaeo then returned to the Ebon Blade rising the ranks before becoming a lieutenant under Dread Commander, Itheros Blackheart. After walking a path that corrupted his dead body even further for a stint of power, he began to realize the outcome was not worth it in the long run after witnessing someone walking a similar path experience rapid deterioration. Using the skills he had acquired under the Lich King's rule, coupled with his own during his long life he began walking his own path molding himself into a rune weapon. Using an item to remove the shadow erosion from his body, he walks forward for his family and the Ebon Blade as a master of Death Runes.

Inscription: Due to his knowledge of runes, his research bled into inscription allowing him to activate glyphs on his body and armor for rapid casting.
