Personality

Alignment: The man is neutral good, the wolf is neutral evil.

Jerico is a precarious balance of his conscious mind. The man and the wolf; sharing the same overall goals, loves and hatred. The difference comes down to the way they perceive the world. The man is the side most will see, trying to place duty before desire; honoring his promises and doing what he thinks is proper or right.

The wolf on the other hand, it wants to kill what it thinks are threats to it or what it wants, it is lustful, violent and takes what it wants. The wolf and the man are rooted though in Jerico's childhood, not his transformation into a worgen; it was the transformation however that gave all of his other traits an outlet. - Whether he appears as a human or worgen, both thought processes are present; depending on the situation he is in, the man or the wolf will assume dominance and thus he will act more upon what that side would want.

He is cautious of his actions, of drinking too much or loving too fierce; containing himself and struggling with the burning desire to take what he wants.

History

Jerico's life begins back in Gilneas, the Second War had ended and before he was able to read, the country locked its self away behind the impressive Greymane Wall. Jerico was the first born child of Landen and Jessica Caldwell. Jessica loved books and was an inscriptionist, Landen loved money and was a skilled smith and enchanter.

They were upper class citizens, Jerico knows the softness of fine cloth and the gleam of priceless jewelry. But his father, and his father's father, they only became wealthy by working. Thus, Landen was at times hard on Jerico, telling he to persevere and toil if he must to keep the family alive and well. As the years past, Jerico learned from both his mother and father, always trying to do his best to listen to them both. Father had a sense of duty, mother told Jerico to do what he loved; and they both loved Jerico just showed it in different ways. Both parents, and Jerico all loved the second child, Lilly Caldwell.

Jerico worked closely with his father, going to noble courts, conducting business and working with him in the workshop. But after some time, Jerico came to find his father despite his 'honor', was a deceptive man. He had in fact decided at the start of the rebellion to offer services to both sides of the conflict, luckily for Jerico's sake, Jerico was never brought along to any meetings with rebels.

After the rebellion, and a still some time before the worgen would one day overwhelm Gilneas city, Landen returned home late from business. Jerico met him outside their home, noticing that his father's armor was marred. Landen quickly dismounted, limping slightly and hardly speaking, "Tend the horse, I must speak with your mother."

Thus, Jerico did look over the horse for a few minutes, the poor animal was weak and tired, run to the brink. Then Jerico found thin gashes on the horse's flank, right as his ears were pierced by a painful scream. He turned on heel and rushed into the house, to the study where he heard commotion, then he froze as he came through the doorway. Some, beast, stood over his dead mother and was holding in its clawed hands the sixteen year old Lilly whose throat gushed crimson liquid. Jerico's eyes met the wolf's, and he had no a moment to move before it began to assault him. He knew the armor it was wearing, he felt the familiar enchantments, and he knew - this thing - was his father. Jerico however also knew, it was stronger than he was, larger, faster and had the augmentation of those enchantments. He was clawed, bruised and battered. Thrown into walls, and nearly split open several times, his fight with the beast dragged out across a good portion of the room and the hallway. He couldn't hold it off, and it pushed him down, biting into his left shoulder with reckless abandon.

Jerico hugged the creature's neck, crying and bleeding; he lost so much so quickly. Now this thing, his father, was trying to kill him. After moments of pain and horror, Jerico simply twisted as hard as he could... And the beast fell limp on top of him.

Weak and bloodied, he tended to the bodies and even the beast's, putting them into the ground before entering the house again. Then he just sat there, in his father's chair in the study while staring into the fire. The bite began to swell, and his vision blurred slowly as he sat there devastated by the events of that night...

Not many months later Jerico was captured and brought back to his senses, for the most part, he came back to a Gilneas under siege by the dead and in the short time he remained there he worked on weapons and armor until evacuated from the territory. Once he found shelter in Stormwind, he was reduced to a poor serf with no money, no supplies, no way of using his trade properly. It was then however when a Stormwind noble by the name of Gerard Klydesdale attempted to ruin Jerico's life once more by forcing him to work for House Klydesdale; Jerico went mad with rage and stormed into the forests of Elwynn were he so happened upon a hunting party of nobles.
