Typically clad in lightweight armors and/or ceremonial vestments. In may cases they are one and the same. Never seems to wear any heavy protection on her head, of all places. And the defensive value of her otherwise armors is easy to question.

Other: Her Saber likely counts as an accessory, as it is very much part of her typical activities. Noted that, as is she, it is a bit small for its kind.

Personality

Zealous. One might think the centuries would quiet even one such as Jaedis---maybe, especially one such as Jaedis. Her firm belief in the superiority of the Kaldorei, a view that should have been crushed by the loss of their immortality. This simply was not the case. Characterized as one of the strong, willful priestess typically seen at the forefront of Kaldorei activity, she has an unwavering quality about her that is difficult to ignore.

History

"In my time among the temples, I learned there were two sort among the Priestess. One sort, best suited to inspire and to sit among the temple gardens as a stationary example of Elune's grace. The other sort, best suited to more directly demonstrate the favor Elune bestows upon us. Suited for guiding arrows to those who threaten the Kaldorei, more than guiding the minds and hopes of our kind toward the pale moon. I, admittedly, am the second sort. It is not with disdain that I look upon my sisters...but with idle amusement. The separation is never an official agreement---it is one, as our kind are often capable of, of unspoken understanding. Check what resides in our strong hand, and you will know easily.

If it is a staff or tome, you have stumbled across the first sort. If there resides a bow, you have found the second. And if you are not Kaldorei, and in the temple to check...I suppose you already know how well that bow works." ~Jaedis Moonstride, speaking to an unknown human about the status and oddities of priestess in her culture.

Jaedis is a born and bred zealot of the Temple of the Moon. Though it has resided in different locales during her lifetime---and when she came into being, that 'life' was presumed to be indefinite---her line typically produces strong and capable patrons of the temple...she was expected to be no different, and by and large she was not.

Over time, Jaedis became the smallest of oddities. It was typically assumed, and by and large irrefutable truth, that the more willful a priestess the more powerful her abilities to utilize the light of Elune. While Jaedis is nowhere short of willpower, her abilities were always lacking in the least. Though her presence is known to have obvious reinforcing benefits, she has never been able to even bring forth enough of Elune's power to heal an injured ally. The shortcoming is mysterious, and did lead to a small bit of scandal concerning her line.

Vaguely, it was hinted that Jaedis was somehow tainted with arcane or fel energies. This was used to explain her flooring proficiency with a bow, and how her presence was so charismatic and pervasive yet she could not bring energies for healing or even evoke a powerful prayer.

It was a suspicion that was swept aside by time. Deciding she was simply better suited for bringing focus to herself and allies in battle, her learning and training has since been geared in that direction---and its worth proven on fields of battle and dire times since.

Presumably, she was involved in the latest round of conflicts to sweep Azeroth... and if asked, she will recount involvement in the events and battles leading to the destruction of the World Tree. Though depending on who asks, the tale may or may not be tinged with hints of her own hostility. In very recent times she was most often found around Darnassus. Last overheard comments being about the need to quiet the 'vile and meddlesome' Scourge in the north. Presumably at her leave, she can be expected to end up there by one route or another.
