Personality

Ilari is a calm, well-mannered, intelligent, and caring man. He has incredible control over his emotions, which has been worked on for the past thousands of years. Why, you may ask? "Emotions cloud the thought processes, allowing any who fall prey to make incredibly foolish choices." Would be his answer.

Ilari is a bookworm. He adores any form of literature, and could spend hours on end reading. One of the biggest subjects that would catch this draenei's attention would be, of course, the Arcane. Though, some other topics would be language and culture. When this man isn't reading, he would probably be found practicing his skill in the complex art that is the Arcane. Teaching, though, is another hobby of his. He loves sharing what he has learned with the world; finding this to be incredibly rewarding.

History

Ilari was born on the mysterious planet of Argus. He would be considered a very respectful child growing up. Not only by his parents, who had blessed him with life, but also to all others. Ilari was born into a long line of Magi, and thus gained his inspiration from the fact. He would study for long hours, and train with his parents every chance they got. Ilari didn't mind the studying. Actually, he found it quite amusing. Not only did he read literature on the Arcane, but he began to gain interest in the cultures of different civilizations and the languages they speak.

The young draenei was considered very popular among the few other draenei children, and their parents. He would often tutor them, should they need it. Ilari forged a strong friendship with two other draenei his age. A male Paladin named Exodeus and a female Priestess named Anushka. They became closer and closer every day.

Then, Sargeras offered their three leaders power beyond anything they could have imagined. Velen would decline the offer and the three comrades would join him, along with his other loyal draenei. They all loaded onto Oshu'gun and blasted off to .. well, anywhere but there.

Life on the ship soon became quite boring to Ilari, even with his friends there to keep him company. He longed to be able to go outside for fresh air. To run in the grass. He did get that chance, but not for long. Each time Oshu'gun landed on a planet, the Burning Legion and Kil'jaedan would be right behind. This frustrated the young man to no end, which only drove himself harder to become a powerful Magi. In his time on Oshu'gun, Ilari would spend most of his time studying and practicing his magic with Anushka. Though they studied different subjects, it gave them both someone to be around while they did. Exodeus would study with them as well, but not so often. He required physical prowess as well the powers of the Light, so he trained in a different part of Oshu'gun. Nevertheless, the three had each other.

Eventually, the draenei arrived on a planet they called Draenor. There, they met and befriended the Orcs, before their corruption. Ilari loved this world more than the others they had visited. He loved Terrokar Forest and Nagrand. He loved the wildlife. Though, this happiness wouldn't last for long. The Orcs attacked unexpectedly. Exodeus, Ilari's best friend was slain in the battle. Though, he had managed to stay alive with Anushka. He used his knowledge of the Arcane to thwart any who dared try to attack the two. Any who succeeded in harming the pair would be dealt with and Anushka would heal them both before pressing on. This war lasted eight years, and they survived. Most everyone Ilari knew and loved had died in the war. He mourned the loss of his family and friends quickly, as Velen lead the survivors to Zangarmarsh. Ilari now thought of Anushka more than a friend. They had been through hell together. He confronted her, and discovered she felt the same way. Though, their relationship didn't last long. The draenei soon found out about the Blood Elves and Tempest Keep. They could escape! They marched into battle against the Elves, and managed to gain control over the Exodar. Sadly, in the battle, Anushka was slain. Ilari was devastated. He almost stayed there with her and the Elves who had slew her. Though, fortunately, he was pulled aboard and they managed to get to Azeroth, before they crashed. Ilari had managed to take Anushka's necklace as a reminder. Though, he would never forget.

Ilari currently spends his days traveling. He writes of his exploits in a rather large, thick, leather-bound journal which he carries on his person everywhere he goes.
