Personality

Idrual has had quite some time to develop his own traits, his strengths, his weaknesses. But you necessarily couldn't put his personality into words. He is quiet, yet talkative. He is shy, yet outgoing. He is calm, reserved, and a very peace oriented being, but when he see's the people around him making the same mistakes he and his race have made, he will use anything in his power to stop them from making the same mistakes he and his race have. Idrual still retains to the very peaceful, animal loving, druid. More than likely you will -never-, see Idrual in a town or city unless he has personal buisness or goods to attend and purchase. Idrual however has a very big trust issue with any other race than the Kaldorei, naturally he will tend to ignore, or simply put off a human or dwarf that are trying to have a conversation with him. He has very many strengths, but one weakness you could say hinders Idrual most, is his inability to put trust into something, he tends to blame himself for most of the incidents that happen around him. Although Idrual's main strength would have to be patience.

History

Almost seven thousand years before Arthas emerged from the Icecrown, a baby Kaldorei by the name of Idrual Moonsong was born into Azeroth towards the end of the Exile Of the Highbourne (High Elves). Idrual was raised by his mother mostly, his father was only around Idrual at a very young age where Idrual wouldn't have remembered anything about him. Idrual's mother, a priestess of Elune, spent most of her time raising and nurturing Idrual to follow in his fathers footsteps, along with the other Kaldorei males that practiced Druidism.

Idrual was given a mentor, a high druid known as Elrenas now focused on Idrual and his training and lessons to become more in tune with nature and the land. Idrual was a very silent, yet studious young Kaldorei, he was often found after his lessons deep in the forests of Ashenvale, communicating and practicing his arts and magic with the land around him. Idrual however had very distinct interests in the stone and ground, he often would study a rock for hours on end, noticing and observing the rock mixtures and sediments. Idrual's mentor Elrenas had spoken and taught on this subject very few times, as his main focus was based upon the flora and fauna of the area, something Idrual took into great consideration, but never struck him as something so awe filled and inspiring as the lands under him.

Idrual continued his training many years beyond the creation of Khaz Modan, after his mentor Elrenas was called into the Emerald Dream, he told Idrual to continue his training, that it would never stop as long as he lived, and that he may or may not be back from the Emerald Dreams calling, Idrual was very understanding of this, but apart of him was saddened that he would no longer get to speak with the man whom had changed his life in so many ways, taught him everything he knew up to this point.

Idrual pressed on, continuing his reserved lifestyle. Idrual had never once came out of the forest of Ashenvale between his time of birth and now, which he was around the age of four thousand. He finally had managed to get out of his surroundings, out of his comfort zone, which was something that Elrenas had always told him to do. He explained to him at the end of every session and ritual that when you begin your training outside of your comfort zone, things will change, you will change. Idrual never quite understood the meaning of what he told him every session, but he'd finally managed to take it to heart and bring it past his stubborn side and do things.

As Idrual made his way out of Ashenvale, and into the barrens, his body was almost literally so off tune with the surrounding area that he nearly fell over from mere exhaustion of trying to figure out the correct tunings and energies he needed to adjust himself with to even think or breathe. After meditating and furthering himself in his teachings, he'd began the art of transformation and shape shifting, after attuning himself with the heat and dryness of the barrens, Idrual had managed to somewhat finish his training as far as shape shifting concerned him.

Idrual had constructed himself a home out of stone and a few leaves and such he'd gathered and made, his goal here was to attune himself with the area completely so that he would be able to use areas like this to his best ability. Idrual was sleeping amongst his fellow new friend, whom he'd dubbed Lelanth, a small bore that had followed him around for a good month or two, he heard something walking outside of his small hut, other than just the animals or the wind swaying, this noise was that of a footstep. Idrual finally brought himself to his feet, quickly shifting into a small cat before walking out of the hut to see what this was all about. Although what he was now seeing was a large troll, the first race that he'd seen, other than his own kind. This would spark a new fire into Idrual, a fire of traveling and site seeing.

As Idrual had returned after his long journey with different climates and flora, he'd found a small letter awaiting for him that had been written some odd years ago, before he'd even though about going to the barrens. Although the news inside the letter wasn't to his liking, his mother had given her last breath in a battle so it seems as the letter explains. Idrual mourned momentarily only to be grabbed on the shoulder by someone he'd never thought he'd see with his own eyes.

Idrual turned around, his eyes opening wide as the man introduced himself, Idrauo Moonsong. Idrual had heard this name spoken once and never forgot it by his mother. Idrual was over joyed at his fathers appearance, but at this time his father had to speak to him on a more important matter, a request from the Emerald Dream.

Idrual now was called forth to the Emerald Dream, but as he stepped through and learned of the places and such, he was shortly told his time in the Emerald Dream would be short lived, and that he had a further call for dark times ahead. Only now could Idrual continue his training and lessons with his father, whom was a very well tuned druid, having lived in the Emerald Dream for as long as fourteen thousand years. Idrual finally finished most of his main training here, he was now a druid, what he'd aspired and trained to be for so long. Although the time spent in the Emerald Dream was of learning and happy cherished time, he now realized that his time left spent with his father was soon to be short lived.

Idrual had now spent almost two thousand years with his father in the Emerald Dream, living the good life I suppose. Although on this day Idrual's life would be changed and altered forever. "You have been called back from the Emerald Dream, dark times have finally exceeded into something far more vile and decrepit than we have ever feared, Idrual Moonsong, you are returned."

As Idrual returned, he found himself somewhere in a town known as Everlook, he awoke in a meditative position, somewhere in a cave as he made his way out and into the town with a few questions to ask. The first goblin he spotted nearly freaked him out, at first he was scared they were going to attack him, but they appeared rather neutral towards him. Idrual approached one and started bombarding him with a few questions as the half drunken goblin explained to him most of the events at least he'd heard about. Idrual had managed now to become even more confused, hearing about the scourge and Arthas and some throne and such. Although he understood times were dark, he now also understood what he had to do. He had to meet, and submerse himself to give any aid he could possibly give. It was Idrual's turn now to give this life a shot.

Idrual took a deep breath, looking at the trail in front of him. "Here goes nothing."
