Personality

Let's face it: Hudson is a grumpy old man, not afraid to speak out when he notices something done wrong. Not afraid to get into a fight. Almost everyone underestimates Hudson as a frail, old man, that is, until said person gets their ass beaten by the "frail" old man. Has a very negative position towards Orcs and Trolls for reasons obvious. Even though he has a negative attitude against the Horde (Mostly Orcs), he lives in the moment and tends to forgive things easily. Has a sour attitude towards new technology, mostly because he can't seem to understand it.

History

Hudson was born in the city-state of Kul Tiras. At the time, Kul Tiras was a very wealthy nation, thus it's denizens and their lifestyle was opulent. Being a son of a successful blacksmith, Hudson had a very gratuitous childhood, he was always well fed and happy. The Quicksteel family was very patriotic and militant, thus from an early age, Hudson was taught the art of fencing and many other forms of hand-to-hand combat.

At the ripe age of thirty, Hudson and the citizens of Kul Tiras were delivered the dire news about the Orcish invasion of Azeroth and the sacking of Stormwind Keep. When the emissaries of Sir Anduin Lothar approached Kul Tiras for aid in their battles against the Orcish Horde, Hudson's father convinced Hudson to abandon his blacksmith apprenticeship and join forces along with other men to assist Sir Lothar. Saying goodbye to his children, wife and family, he set sail with the other recruits.

After much tedious combat training by the commanders of the Lordaeron Alliance, Hudson was already aged thirty seven, he was tired of meager Orc skirmishes and was hungry for a real battle to acquire his chance to spill Orcish blood. While stationed in Southshore, his judgement day finally came. While enjoying a nice roast quail with his squad, they heard something faint in the distance, one soldier was sent by Hudson to do some scouting work, five minutes later, the scout's head was flung by a catapult, as the head landed on the ground with a thud, Orcish markings and curses were scratched upon it. As the valiant humans stood in defense they clashed with the Orcs, limbs and guts flying in the air, no mercy was given that battle, neither by the glorious defenders and neither by the barbaric attackers. At the end of the battle, the defenders prevailed. After the battle Hudson had been promoted to Seargeant Major for extraordinaire courage and valor shown during the battle, along with his numerous kill-count. He was given lead of a small squadron, approximately nine recruits. Hudson was to join forces with the bulk of the Alliance army at Lordaeron, while the vast majority of the surviving men remained on guard in Southshore.

When arrived in Lordaeron, they were met with great hospitality along with the other troops. While being stationed in the capital-city, Hudson lived a peaceful life for the meanwhile. But one day, the Orcs came back, led by the treacherous king of Alterac, the Orcs laid waste to the Lordaeron country side and sieged the capital-city. As Hudson and his squadron prepared for battle, they clashed with the Orcs again, they fought as bravely as any other men, many Orcs they killed, much blood was spilled. Only three men from his squad survived, including Hudson, they fought bravely but were forced to retreat back to the castle. It was a long and hard battle, but the Alliance prevailed when fresh reinforcements came and crushed the weary Horde. Hudson marched to his last drop of strength to chase the Horde and destroy Blackrock keep, the last of the Horde strongholds. He even stormed the dark portal alongside the wizard Khadgar, and thus ends Hudson's tale of the Second War.

Hudson finally returned home, welcomed warmly. He planned to live out his remaining years in peace, or so he thought...

Even at the age of fourty nine, he was great in spirit and was stronger than most young lads. Because of this, he was asked to join in an expedition with Lady Proudmoore, not being able to resist such a honorable offer, Hudson departed Kul Tiras again.

Upon arriving on the mystic and ancient continent of Kalimdor along with thousands of other men, they established a encampment, and soon enough they were attacked by Orcs...Again. After many skirmishes the Orcs abruptly stopped attacking and both, the Humans and the Orcs were led by their leaders to the foothills of Mount Hyjal, little did Hudson know that he was going to battle demons.

When the Humans arrived in Hyjal, they set up a base camp, along with the Orcs and the reclusive Night Elves who also set up bases on different corners of the valley. When Hudson met the Night Elves, he was appalled by their xenophobic manners and still does not enjoy their company. Hudson fought bravely against the hordes of undead and demons, his bloodlust overcoming his fear and terror of the strange creatures. Suddenly, the waves of enemies stopped, in the distance a raging shout was heard, along with the sound of a falling tree. The Third War was over.

When he arrived back at Kul Tiras, he found out that many kingdoms fell and that undeath was roaming around Lordaeron, what was even more tragic, is that he found out his children left their homeland and his wife passed away long ago. After many years of depression, Hudson finally pulled out and became his old self again, he was promoted to Knight-Lieutenant for his valiant deeds in both wars. After a few years of service to the Alliance in the aid of rebuilding their once great kingdom, he retired and now travels Azeroth, enjoying simple life.
