Personality

Hok'gar is a very straight forward Orc. He will speak his mind to whatever end it may lead him to and he is always ready to throw himself into a fight should the need arise. Experience has taught him that not every fight can be won, but it can be started and finished at a longer time, so he can be quick to start a fight, but he may not always stick around to finish it.

History

Hok'gar like many Orcs was born on on the lands of Draenor. Even in his early days he proved himself as a strong Orc and a capable leader, leading himself and a few friends against some older Orcs giving them trouble. From that day, Hok'gar always thought of himself as someone to stand up and rise to deal with a situation rather than wait back for someone else to do it.

Once he was old enough, Hok'gar took up arms in the mighty forces of the Horde Ranks. He was both strong and smart and he easily bested his fellow Orcs in combat and tactics and was quickly admired and respected by his peers and High rankers. Hok'gar stood up and beat down many small Orc uprisings and was quickly placed at the head of his own Regiment.

Then the Dark Portal opened and the Horde poured out into Azeroth, Mok'gar was in the front lines with his Regiment and helped to quickly cut through the Human defenses and get to the Gates of Stormwind. While not actually in the front lines, slaughtering humans by the hundreds, his quick thinking and clever battle formations saved his Orcs from Archers and a few battles on uneven ground.

As successful as Hok'gar was though, couldn't uphold the whole army on his own and the Horde was pushed back to the Dark Portal and then it was destroyed. He was left on Azeroth with no way back home. So he hid and kept himself free and alive. For years he managed to survive... Until the Scourge came. When their armies ran over the lands of Lordaeron there was few places left to hide and he fell victim to their march

Hok'gar however did not fully enbrace death, instead he was risen to the Ranks of the Death Knights. Confused and finding it hard to comprehend, Hok'gar slowly got use to be being in Acherus. He learnt the ways of the Death Knights, he learnt to use the Runes and to embrace the darkness that was now his life.

Hok'gar did many missions for the Lich King, helping to deal out pain and suffering to anyone that would dare rise up against his new master. Hok'gar often was surprised at how easily he was controlled and often felt like his body was not his own, but merely running by strings from some twisted puppet master.

When the rebellion came, Hok'gar joined into the thick of it and won back his freedom, breaking from the controls of the Lich King. With his new found freedom he eventually found his way into Durotar and was greeted by the sight of the Horde rising back to power.

Hok'gar now wanders Durotar, keeping his identity as a Death Knight to himself, scared to be lost to the Horde once more.
