Personality
Superstitious and distrustful of most, unless they seem to share his particular interests, that being fire in all it's forms. His approach to shamanisim is definitely not the balanced ideal: He communes with the spirits of fire almost exclusively, only calling on the earth and air if there is no alternative. He is phobic of water, and avoids calling on water spirits all together. He's a bit of a space case, often wandering away from conversations and other social situations without so much as a goodbye in order to answer some call of the spirits. His accent when speaking Orcish is very thick, so much so that even other trolls may have trouble understanding him sometimes. (( Please do not ask me OOCly what he's saying if it would be logical that your character wouldn't understand, either! Heari's fairly used to having to repeat or explain himself. ))
History
Heari's case was one of the many less fortunate repercussions of the Darkspear joining the Horde. Before the orcs came to their islands, Heari was simply a fairly harmless bundle of nerves (you'd be nervous, too, if you were afraid of water and grew up on an island) who stayed near the center of the largest island and assisted with hunting and defending as long as it didn't go too close to the coastline. Many of his peers noticed his fascination with fire, but as his mental facilities weren't up to the standards of a mage, all they had to do was keep him busy and away from the bonfires and cookpots.
But with the orcs came shamanism, which was shortly thereafter reinforced by the tauren. And the Darkspear had much bigger concerns than keeping one of their number from falling further into obsession. Heari fully embraced the aspects of shamanism that allowed him to speak to and appease his favorite element, and has used it with glee ever since.
