Information

Player: Qaza.

Character Full Name: Hak'lek

Character In-Game Name: Haklek

Nickname(s): Hack, Butterlungs, Typhoid Troll

Association(s): The Ebon Blade, Horde (whether they want him or not)

Race: Troll

Class: Death Knight

Age: Late 30s

Sex: Male

Hair: Bluish, faded from exposure to the plague. Some of the hair has been braided to restore some sense of order, but it really hasn't helped.

Eyes: Glowing blue. They were probably reddish at one point.

Weight: 300-ish

Height: 7' 6"

Alignment: Chaotic evil (As much as that alignment makes me cringe, it seems to be his closest fit. It does not mean he skips down the street slaughtering as he goes, it means that he does what he does mainly for his own interests, and when he does kill someone, he usually enjoys it.)

Appearance

Has a love for the tacky, especially around fellow Death Knights. When in town he tries to cover up a bit, but his clothing is almost constantly ruffled and greasy-looking.

Other: Unless he really makes an effort to clean up, his skin and hair carries the same greasy look, and he is almost constantly rubbing his nose or coughing. His skin is unnaturally pale not only due to his status as a Death Knight, but also because of his numerous afflictions.

Personality

Just about as greasy as he is. Hak'lek's main hobby is collecting diseases, "sampling" them, then passing them along for others to experience. Because of this, his personal hygiene is absolutely horrible, and he is ill almost constantly. Despite this, he seems rather manically upbeat and friendly, going out of his way to try to make physical contact with everyone he meets. He seems to think he's a ladies' man, although this may simply be to further his interests. He shows more respect to fellow Death Knights regardless of faction, at least wiping his hands before offering to shake or turning his head before he coughs. However, if he meets a fellow Death Knight of the opposing faction on the field of battle, he will engage them without hesitation and with every intention to spread the misery.

History

Like many Death Knights, Hak'lek fell while fighting the Scourge. He started life as a happy, healthy warrior of the Darkspear with a flair for the melodramatic. His tendency to show off on the battlefield was the source of his demise, as he liked to charge headlong into areas swarming with the Scourge and see how many kills he could rack up before his companions could get to him and bail him out of trouble. It was inevitable that he would get in over his head, but what killed him was not the swarm of ravenous dead (although that certainly factored in), but the container of Scourge-produced blight that he struck with his wild swings. Upon his raising, he developed his constant disease symptoms and a fascination with the illnesses that "kept him company".

Now freed from the Lich King's will, Hak'lek is having an understandably hard time readjusting to normal society, and his behavior hints that he may not be all that jazzed with the idea anyway.
