Who are the Stormshade?

The Stormshade is that clan you never heard about. The ones who enter and leave the battle field without notice and take victory with them. If you don't know more than this, then the clan doesn't want you to know more.

What rules do they inforce?

Respect! Failing to show respect to the clan, to the horde and even to the alliance could cost you your life in this clan. We want those of a level head, those who think before before acting and are willing to see the larger picture. If one can not do this, expect to be on the front lines in the next battle.

Who can join the Stormshade? How does one join?

All are welcomed to follow the Stormshade clan in their travels. All you must do is carry your weight. If you are more trouble than you are worth than the clan will leave you behind one way or another. Those who know the clan also know of their deathknights and their shadow priests, the clan does not try to hide them. They have no reason to, a warrior for the horde is just that until proven otherwise. Anything short of a warlock could find a place among them. Warlock proves himself to be less trouble than he is worth could even find place. To join is simple, find the clan, and work for them. If they like you, you get invited to join.

What are the ranks? How does one move up in the clan?

  • Chieftain: Highest rank in the clan. The duty of the chieftain is to guide the clan and finalize all major choices. His word is law, end of story.
  • Great Mother: The Wife of the Chief. Orders from her should be treated as if given by a Warlord or Chieftain unless it is matters pertaining to battle or war. Internal clan conflicts are her specialty. Reserves the right to speak on behalf of the Chief.
  • Warlord(s): This is the man second to the Chief and will take command if something happens to the Chief. He takes cares of matters directly concerning internal clan issues. Who gets promoted, who get kicked or invited in. If the chieftain and Great Mother are not available the word of the Warlord(s) is to be followed without question.
Warlord and Great Mother ranks are nearly Equal. Warlords focus on external affairs where as Great Mother focuses on internal. In times where these two ranks are at odds, they are to find a middle ground or take the issue with the Chief. One cannot necessarily override the other.
  • Overseers: These are the ones who advise the warlords in their choices. They provide guidance and education to the rest of the clan teaching them the values of the clan and of the horde. Often time these are religious leaders of different faiths which is why respect is so important.
  • Centurion: Warriors who have proven their-self invaluable to the clan. Those who reach this rank are often taught one on one with overseers and the warlords to prepare them for the day they reach those ranks. It is humble work because so much is expected of anyone who reaches this rank.
  • Honor Guard: Warriors who have been assigned with protecting the life of someone in the clan. In battle they may be sent to the feild to represent the one they have been assigned to defend.
  • Raider: Field commanders, they lead the charge in battle and are responsible for squads of grunts. Performance is heavly monitored.
  • Grunt: Raw recruits the clan has yet to recognize for anything other than being a raw recruit. This is a proving rank where you have not earned respect, it is merely given to you because you have become one of the clan. Prove yourself capable and promotions await.
  • Peons: These are those who have failed horribly and must be punished with a harsh lesson in humility. Even guests of the clan can command a peon.
  • Guest: Someone who has decided to follow the clan and learn of them. This does not mean you can be among the clan and listen in to what ever you like, you are just given permission to be in the same general area of the clan.

Does the clan have a uniform?

The clan has not bothered to create or enforce a uniform. It has been considered but because of their way of fighting, a uniform just has not come across as something required.

OOC rules?

Respect! Keep ic conflicts IC only. Expect the enforcement of rules.
