Appearance

He wears the armor that was earned through hard work. It consists of leather with chain mail and plates strapped abound. It is forged to protect and allow a decent amount of mobility for the young orc to be able to execute daring strikes and feats.

He favors brutal two-handed weapons to deal the most damage to his enemies, but if need be, he keeps two smaller axes by his side when the situation calls for quick and precise strikes.

Personality

Gromkai, a young orc with the heart of a veteran. He believes that the ways of the old are the only ways to live by and heeds everything the elders or any honorable orcs say. He is quick to anger with matters like who was stronger and at times easily coerced to do things like wrestling a lion (which he hasn't done...yet) to prove his bravery to someone. He respects many older orcs and tauren, sometimes even tries to act like them in the substituting his sense of bravery with theirs'.

He has however begun to develop a liking to the trolls, as he spent most of his adolescent years in the Valley of Trials with them. Like his Warsong clansmen, he despises the night elves with great racism and finds distrust in the Forsaken.

Other: He speaks a broken Common as he was never around those who spoke it as often.

History

Gromkai was born to a couple of the most opposite lifestyles, his father was a respected street brawler and his mother was an animal caretaker. This resulted in Gromkai being raised with the conflicting personality of both, though usually his father's was more dominant as he spent more time with him than his mother. He grew up a happy child, his father would bring in money from bets around the scattered villages and towns, even at times, the great city of Orgrimmar itself. He often went to the markets with his mother when his father was away, where he began to pick up his mother's kind nature and slowly developed the 'soft side' of himself.

His father eventually joined the Horde army and satiated his thirst for combat by fighting the night elves and humans who came down from the forests of Ashenvale. He fought battle after battle for the sake of fame and glory, in which he received, earning him the name, Shieldbreaker. A name later inherited by Gromkai when his father died of a deadly Plague symptom. He was now of age to begin his training in the pits and take up his father's legacy, he trained vigorously against his sparring partners and instructors to prove his might and determination. Years passed on and he finally 'graduated' from the pits, he moved on to the Valley of Trials where he was to take his final tests.

He was there until his sixteenth birthday, when he was recognized for his fighting prowess and abilities. The trials of the valley were now over and he consulted the shamans for the next path he was to take, they told him that he should travel to the great capital and seek further instructions from an older orc, they did not give a name nor a description, but merely told him, that he will know once he meets him. With that, the young orc sets off for Orgrimmar, home of the War Chief and his new life.
