Anything that may come in handy. Aesthetics are avoided completely, albeit he still oddly prefers most of what he wears matches, if even slightly. Tends to enjoy the comforts of plate...even though most see it as cowardice, Groll enjoys the burden, and the feeling of power it tends to give him.

Personality

Alignment: Lawful Evil (The Alignments vary for Orcs and Humans.)

Groll, is a thread away from the Dark Horde. Encased deep in his aging skull are still the remnants of the Second War...either he suffers still from the demon blood, or the silly sod just won't let go. Groll is...unpleasant. His facade is war-torn and scared. A mohawk tops his bald skull, as it's about the most hair he can grow, as numerous scars dot the head all around. The teeth grew yellow, and by the roots blackened. Cleanliness isn't his strongest side, and there's usually a strong scent of blood and sweat lingering after him. The old Orc doesn't even try to be nice. He knows how the 'inferiors' view him, and it's an image he's more then happy to indulge them with.

History

Blackhand had it right. Maybe not with the warlocks, but the method and the approach...he had it right. War is an everlasting presence, and no matter what one does, there will always be those that still hunger for the olden days of blood and battle. Honor, valor, prowess; none of those matter, so long as there is a weapon, and there is blood.

Groll'gorom is one of those...a battle hardened veteran gone through more then his share of battle and death. 'Skullreave' is a name that stemmed from that. Groll held...and still holds firmly to his ferocity, and if anything enjoys his bloodlust to a criminal extent. There is little from his past that he even considers worthy to remember...perhaps the memory of his family, two brothers and a sister...but, their untimely death...all three, by their brothers hand stemed from their 'weakness'. Warsong hold strenght as the true ideal of a warriors worth, adn Groll is no different...he just takes it to the utter bloody extreme. There is nothing to define him as heroic, or honorable. He has his own twisted idea of Honor...as every Orc does, but the twisted shell of a Groll'gorom enjoys it's empty existance of rage, and bloodlust. Few of his clan would deny him the strenght and endurance that got him to this age, but few would step aside to allow him his rampage. Skullreave is a thread away from seeking out Blackhand's sons of the Blacktooth Grin Clan. The ideals of the New Horde under Thrall are worthless...time wasting and weak. The petty alliances, and pointless peace contracts...when but a few years ago, the glorious Horde slaughtered them...first the Draenei and Outland, then Azeroth.

...

The old man still fights this. He may not be as open or active about it as the Blackrock, but he certanly liked the olden days of blood and glory, and not these stale days of patrols and peace conferences. Conflict is at the root of his existance, and conflict may well one day be the end of him.
