Appearance

Grok usually wears leather tribal robes, however if he knows he is going into dangerous lands, he will wear chain mail armor underneath the leather.

Grok carries the mace inscribed by his mentor, Drak'Zum, and usually wears his ceremonial garb. He is very fond of his Spirit Wolf form. He also has a small Worg Pup named Thrazzy.

Personality

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Grok'Thaz is seen as an aloof character, who seems to find peace in wandering the plains of the Barrens and Durotar. He socializes with members of both factions, however, he is sometimes looked to as a terrifying, bloodthirsty Orc. This causes most of the people that meet him to be very cautious around him. He is almost always a friendly character, however will lash out if provoked. He can be found either in his Spirit Wolf Form, or in his Shamanistic gear, as well as his Clan Tabard.

History

Grok'Thaz was born into an Orcish clan, on Draenor. His life was filled with the daily tasks of his clan, ranging from cooking the next meal, to helping shaman's with ink sets and parchment. He also partook in trading with the Draenei, when they arrived to his homeland.

During his many ventures to the Draenei villages, he gradually started to pick up on the Draenic language. The village closest to his clan housed many shamanistic Draenei, essentially just like the Spirit Wolf Clan Grok was part of. He saw many of his friends interacting with the Draenei in a casual demeanor. He wanted to speak with their elder, and see if their training was just like his.

Grok's mentor, Drak'Zum, was an elderly Orc, who despised the radical ways of certain other clans he had met with before. He taught Grok'Thaz, at the age of 15, about the elements, being in tune with the spirits, and the various skills he needed to become a great shaman and, later on in his life, a scribe.

Grok, at the age of 21, had finally mastered the many technique's his elder had taught him, except for one. Grok'Thaz could never seem to change his form to the Spirit Wolf after which his clan was named after. Drak'Zum met him one day when the clan was resting, “Grok'Thaz, young one, you have progressed far in your training...all that is left to do is for you to learn the Spirit Wolf; Are you up to the challenge Grok'Thaz?”

Grok'Thaz looks up, “Yes, Elder, I am ready.” And so, the two went on a long journey to a remote location deep in what is now known as Nagrand. They visited the Throne of Elements, but never crossed the lake to the center. Grok, never seeing such beauty in his homeland was stunned. His mentor led him down the road, to a large slab of stone.

Elder Drak'Zum pulled out a mace, along with some glowing blue ink. He applied the ink to the mace, causing it to glow, “Grok, this hammer shall be the reward for your extreme patience and diligence in your training.”

Grok backed up a few steps, and started concentrating on changing form. He felt one shudder after another, until all he felt was a large rumbling within him. He looked at his feet and hands, noticing abnormal hair growth. He became excited, and finally succeeded in changing his form to that of the Spirit Wolf. The elder gazed at Grok'Thaz steadily, and congratulated him.

Some time later, when Grok was about the age of 32, his clan met the Frostwolves, along with the Mag'Har. This was a time of war between the Legion and the Draenei they were “chasing”. Grok, along with his clan and a few Draenei shamans, stayed with the Mag'Har, as many Orc clan's were overtaken by the Legion, and corrupted. Later on in history, in the land known as Nagrand, Grok and a few fellow shaman ventured to the city of Shattrath, where they seeked refuge, and a way back to Azeroth.

Now, at the age of 54, Grok'Thaz is the Elder Shaman of his clan, and is always in search of shaman who might be related to the few he travelled with. He always carries his inscribed mace, along with his ceremonial garb. He is also very fond of his Spirit Wolf form, comforting or scaring whenever need be.
