She has a strong respect for Garrosh Hellscream, seeing him as a true warrior, and the rightful Warcheif of the Horde. She shares his hatred for the Allaince, and passion for his people. She despise the Allaince races, especially humans. She is even somewhat weary on other races of the Horde, the Forsaken and blood elves above all.

History: As a child Gritaka Bladesong was a rebellious sort, always running off into the wilderness. She preferred the solitude of the forests. She was born and raised in the Alterec Mountains by her mother, Grolma, after her father's death at the hands of humans. Her village came under attack by hunters seeking to wrangle them up into internment camps. Her father gave his life to buy Gritaka and her mother time to escape.

To young to member much, she only knew her father as a great warrior. She lived her life aspiring to be a warrior herself, despite her mothers wishes for her to live a simpler life among the Frostwolves. She trained every day in the forests alone. By the time of the Third War she was a young woman, ready to join her people in in battle against their enemies.

Serving as a grunt in the growing Horde, she quickly picked up the finer points of combat from the more seasoned warriors, especially those among the Warsong Clan. She remained behind during the construction of Orgrimmar, even after her own clan returned to the Alterec Mountains. She wanted more, to be more, and to fight for the Horde and contribute to it. To be a part of this great, growing nation in Durotar.

Gritaka has sense become highly trained in the art of war and weaponry. She took her training out into the world. Settlement after settlement she would take up odd jobs to get by, mercenary work to aid the Horde's people throughout the Barrens and Stoentalon Mountains. At a young age she had felt she reached the peak of her abilities. Pride and arrogance had become her best friends.

So socked was she when she was utterly humbled by a man who defeated her in brawl with no more then a single strike. Anger and humiliation set in, but to her even greater surprise the man offered to teach her. His name was Logohn, a old, grey skinned, orc Blademaster who took her under his wing. She was sent first to Frey Island, where she was forced to sit and train with warriors from all over Azeroth. She learned much in doing so, picking up some of the cultural influences in different races combat.

After that, Gritaka and Logohn traveled the world together, him being her first true friend. She had seen places she never thought she would, travelling to the sand of Tanaris and back to the forests of Ashenvale, and everything in-between. That all ended when Logohn decided to leave, however. Gritaka could tell something had been troubling him, but was not sure what until he was already gone.

After that, Gritaka returned to Orgrimmar, unsure of what to do with herself. When news reached her of the Frostwolf clan's rising conflict with the Stormspike Expedition in Alterec Valley she was quick to rush to their aid, though. Joining other horde warriors and adventurers she fought back against the Alliance armies in the Valley to defend her people from the dwarven encroachment.

She was briefly reunited with her mother, who had been bitter with Gritaka's leaving the clan. But, seeing Gritaka defend her people the way her father had she soon realized how proud of her daughter she truly was. Their relationship rekindled, Gritaka finally recieved her mothers blessing, and ventured out into the world again.

Joining a mercenary warband, she headed south, to combat the Dakr Horde in the Burning Steppes. With her training under Logohn she displayed abilities that not only impressed her allies, but gained her renown as a dangerous warrior among her enemies as well. She and her allies cut a path beneath the shadow of Blackrock Mountain along side other adventurers and heroes, taking part in operations throughout the Burning Steppes. She did not expect to find what she had though.

Logohn had betrayed the Horde to join his Blackrock brethren, and now stood between her and Blackrock Mountain. His attempts to convince Gritaka to join him were failed by the memory of her mother and the darkness the Horde had once been. The darkness that the Dark Horde would see it as again. And so the student was forced to fight her master in a battle worthy of song and legend. In the end, she bested him, and gave him an honorable death.

She disappeared after that, taking Logohn's sword and would not return to the Horde until the re-opening of the Dark Portal. Hardened from her experiences in Blackrock Mountain she joined the push into Outland with brutality and rage. She was not the same woman she once was, her mind filled with anger and regret.

Stationed in Hellfire Peninsula she took command of her own, small unit of Raiders, leading them on hit and run attacks against the Fel-Horde and Alliance alike. Weilding her former masters sword, she proved to be even more deadly then ever before. She did not differentiate between the two. To her they were nothing more then enemies. And enemies existed only to be crushed.

It was not long before she turned her fury upon Hellfire Citadel itself. Joining other heroes of the Horde she cut straight a path into the citadel to destroy them from within. But as always was her downfall, her arrogance and pride get the better of her. Her forces were defeated, and she herself taken prisoner. Tortured and beaten for information she never gave the fel-orcs anything.

Before she could be exacted, however, a group of Allaince had broken to free their imprisoned allies. She was shocked when they turned the key to open her cell. Why they would help her, a Horde soldier, one who had killed many of their own allies, perhaps even friends, was beyond her. She could not fathom it. But she knew this was her one chance to escape, and so she took it.

Questioning her own beliefs on war and the Allaince, she left hellfire to seek out Nagrand, where her uncorrupt brethren, the mag'har, had been discovered. Laying down her axe for the first time in years she sat among the mag'har and she learned. She learned of her peoples past, of their customs and practices. She learned of the spirits and the elements, and how to commune with them. She was no shaman, but she enjoyed watching them, listening.

The time spent away from war had taught her much, but in the end she was a warrior. Battle was in her blood. She left Logohn's sword behind, in the care of the mag'har, believing that if the sword found rest there, then perhaps Logon's spirit would too. She returned to Azeroth, leaving the shattered world of her people behind.

Gritaka witnessed Garrosh Hellscream's arrival in Orgrimmar, and could tell right away that he was a strong warrior. but more then that she could see the strength in his heart, and the renewed pride he carried after learning the truth of his father. She was curious to see how he would serve the Horde in the years to come, and so was eager to join his forces in Northrend.

Throwing her loyalties into the Warsong Offensive, she took up station in the Warsong Hold, where she would carry out operations throughout Borean Tundra. There she would remain throughout the majority of the Northrend Campaign, until the call for aid in Ulduar arose. Reluctant to leave the Warsong behind, she never-the-less travelled to Dalaran to learn how she could help.

The great mage city was a wonder to behold, one she would never truly forget. She did not have much interest in magic, to her a blade and muscle was all she would ever need. but she respected it's power, and what it could do. She was not to thrilled about the abundance of elves and humans in the city though. Lucily her stay would not be long.

Travelling the mountainous lands of the Storm Peaks she would arrive at Ulduar in time to join it's initial siege against the iron dwarves. It was the first real battle she had fought in. It's scale massive beyond belief. It excited her, set fire through her blood! Even as she sat within the massive siege engines, blasting the iron dwarves to oblivion, she felt her battle-lust rise. She elected to stay outside the primary structure, and continue fighting back any iron dwarf reinforcements.

She would later go on to observe and participate in the Argent Tournament, and fairing quite well. Earning herself a position on the front lines against Icecrown citadel itself. Such a hellish place would have once struck her with fear and uncertainty. but beneath the leadership of Garrosh Hellscream she charged into battle against the undead Scourge without hesitation. She and others remained at the Citadel gates, fighting wave after wave of Scourge reinforcements attempting to take the citadel back while heroes of both Alliance and Horde progressed within. She was proud to play her part.

Before the Cataclysm she defended Orgrimmar during the elemental invasion, and would go on to formally join the Horde military. She dutifully follows the commands of her superiors, though secretly aspires to take their place. Full of pride, ambition, and determination she now looks to advance and better herself, as she has always done.
