Personality

Allen was a somewhat cheerful and maybe even naïve guy. He grew up on the farm, so he wasn't used to interact with large crowds, neither did he liked being around large groups of people. Allen never liked mushrooms since he was a kid but nonetheless if he had to he would eat them. As for his childhood, he liked to wander about sometimes, but never too far from the farm.

Grayne is straight to the point person, he is used to live his life in solitude and therefore he wouldn't be the type of guy you'd find in Undercity very often. This isn't because he dislikes people or being undead, but he loves the peace and silence of “ the grave” so he tends to avoid larger cities where it is always crowded and can't get your peace anywhere.

He is a bit reluctant when it comes to their newfound allies the Sin'Dorei seeing as he has verry few in common with them with the exception of The Banshee Queen beeing a former High elf but out of plight to the forsaken to which he owed much he is willing to interact with them to some degree.

His point of vieuw towards the horde is more or less neutral, though he finds them a bunch of barbaric creatures that banded together to create some kind of order within the horde itself. Though he Despises the Orcs as he remembers their vile way of warfare and destruction from the time he was alive.

Grayne is unable to get along with humans or any of the living concerning the alliance even though they where former allies, their way of dealing with situations at hand differs much. This is the result of Grayne his death and the gaps in his torn memory. Also it has to be taken into account that the Alliance considers the Forsaken no better then those of the scourge and their hostile treatment towards the Forsaken is something Grayne could not overlook resulting in him to refuse any contact with the alliance but hostile contact.

His personality has undergone some weird twist of preferences as well compared to his time as a mortal. His humor is a shining example as well which used to consist out of word jokes and smart mouthing people and now mostly consist out of sarcasm and a very dark form of humor.

History

Allen was a simple boy that lived an average life; nothing thrilling or exciting, just peaceful. He lived on a farm he inherited from is parents far after the war with the Orcs in a peaceful town near the city of Lordearon He wasn't rich, but neither was he poor. They ate mostly what they had grown on the farm and sold what they themselves did not need. Everything went swell and on when he reached the age of 35 he got married after which he got a son and a daughter.

However, this happiness would not remain forever. The day Allen turned 57 was the last day he would be alive. His grain was corrupted with the sickness of the Scourge; he usually tasted the grain to see if it was of a good quality. His family did not eat of the new harvest, as it was supposed to be sold and taken away the next day. They attempted to nurse Allen back to health, but all they tried was to no avail. Slowly but surely he turned into an undead being.

For a long time he remained peaceful, remaining still in bed slowly decaying. That till the Lich King called for him to arise once more. He then murdered his own father and mother in a bestial manner, his son managed to escape but this was due to the sacrifice his mother and sister made. Only to be trampled under the scourge's well oiled warmachine.

During Allen's unwilling servitude among the ranks of the Scourge, he slew many soldiers and citizens of the kingdom of Lordearon without remorse or holding back. However, inside his being, something began to stir and resist his vile manner of living and the evils that where done towards the kingdom. Due to this he was eventually able to reach some sort of an own will, he couldn't break free from the grip that influenced his actions, but within his physical shell there was a consciousness of his former self. Then the civil war broke out amongst the undead led by the banshee Sylvannas Windrunner against the lich Kel'thuzad, which was left in charge of the undead forces present in Lordaeron. As if moved by a force not that of his own, Allen regained control of his own body as he felt the grip dissipate that once took control of his already mutilated body. Upon regaining parts of his memory, he felt down struck, but he also found support with the victims that broke free from the Scourge's iron grip as well.

This was due to the events which occured when Illidian and Arthas raced towards the frozen throne and thus the Lich king which resulted in a temporary break of focus on the Lich kings behalf. Because of this several undead where able to escape the grip that was placed upon their bodies if they had the will to resist it.

Those undead became known as the Forsaken and not before long they took hold of the ruins of the once prestigious city of Lordearon and the area surrounding it with the aid of the Murlocs,Gnolls Bandits and Ogres by posesing key figures (within their respective chain of command) by using Sylvannas banshees. Later on a reluctant truce was formed with the remainder of the lordearon forces within the area after Detheroc was slain by Sylvannas herself.

After gaining foothold within the area called Tirisfall Glades Allen felt incredibly saddened; his family was dead and he himself had nowhere to go. It took him some time but eventually he accepted what he had become and moved on leaving the past be the past. He changed his name to Grayne Mournewind, stating that the person named Allen Springbreeze was long gone and now rested with the dead.
