Personality, Hobbies, Status & Traits

As it happend to most of the Orcs, Gorlak's skin also became green later, though while it was in a typical brownish tone when he was born, due to the corruption brought by Fel magic, which was also the source of the lust for blood and rageful behaviour. These 'side effects' of Fel magic had also affected Gorlak in a negative way, getting him overwhelmed by his rage, grinding the bones of his opponent brutally, especially the skull, after a fight to death.

Though while he is cruel against his enemies, he is loyal to his words, his allies, and he never hurts someone defensless; also going abide by the rules of anyone, anyplace; respecting them.

Gorlak never harms innocent, nor slays anyone for self-pleasure. He aids the ones who are in need of any kind of help, in necessary situations. In case of emergency, or in desperate situations, desperate solutions must be found, as Gorlak does so. He tortures if it is extremely required, and breaks the laws in such cases, if only it is at the highest necessity.

He has strong family ties. He is a nationalist and he would defend his brethren from any danger, at any cost; unless the mentioned ones are traitors.

He has a low pitched, rather loud voice. He oftenly yells as a preferrance, and is rarely seen while whispering. He speaks common in a typical Orc accent, though while his Orcish is really fluent.

He has to act fast during combat, so he thinks fast and decides with a haste, doing mental practices alongside physical, combat trainings. Gorlak uses his logic to solve matters. He is a logical, and a rational fighter, who doesn't depend on his emotions except in such cases like when he is in a rage, mainly caused by the effects of Fel magic he had a little contact with to get his skin green. He never lets others sense his feelings.

He becomes an unstoppable juggernaught when raged, battling till death. He would also sacrifice himself for the beloved ones of him.

Gorlak does not have many possessions. His wealth is no more than an average individual's, though he is generous and he supports the poor as much as his economic status permits him.

Gorlak works as an enchanter in his leisure time, also spending time with his friends. He likes long jogs at night in Barrens, and he likes mining ore. However, he hates alchemy and related stuff. As a military man, he finds hide and seek a strategical and tactical game, playing it in his free times.

Food plays a big role in his life. He likes eating raw or roasted meat the most, with his favourite food being cow steak. Though unfortunate for him that cows are mostly around human cities which causes him to taste such a dish so rarely. He has an obssession with the foods. He cannot fight properly without having eaten something.

He likes autumn the most as a season, with Barrens being his most beloved placed. He loves wolves, and the fresh smell of 'victory!' in the morning.

He fears the most that one day the Burning Legion will actually defeat the Horde, and enslave the whole Orcdom, pillaging their cities and homes. Other than that, he has no fear in anything, even not in death as he would be proud of dying during a war, representing his brethren. Except one, which is his little secret. He has such a fear which he would never want to share with anyone. He is afraid of flying on a mount or any kind of mech, though he is trying to mask that and trying to resist the urge to let loose of himself since he is in need of fast transportation.

History

Gorlak was born on Draenor, the land of serenity and peace, once, where Orcs had lived with their visitors, the Draenei, harmonically until the arrival of the Burning Legion. His birth had taken place three years before the Dark Portal's creation.

During the First War, when Gorlak was around six, his father was serving as a shaman to his clan, whose people had declined the offer of corruption from Gul'dan, preferring to stay in their homeland Draenor, not getting involved in any war or strife.

Later then, a group got seperated from the clan, including Gorlak and his father, deciding to pass through the Dark Portal in hope of finding a more peaceful land to live on.

In order to have a disguise, the Orcs got corrupted by Fel Magic, willingly, to an extent, getting their skin colors transformed into green.

After getting that done, they passed through the Dark Portal, finding themselves in Blasted Lands, afterwards journeying to the Swamp of Sorrows, where Gorlak had recieved his first real test as a shaman under the training of his father, facing an Ogre near of his strenght, a rather small one compared to most of the Ogres.

After accomplishing his first task, the encampment got disbanded, packing their things up and moving on to the Deadwind pass, then to the North ahead, at last reaching Hillsbrad Foothills, where they had ran into Thrall and his men.

Then the remaining members of the clan followed Thrall on his journey to Kalimdor, participating in the battles he did, on his side. As Gorlak achieved victory over victory, succeeding his father upon his death, becoming the 'leader' of his people his decision was nothing different than his father's, which was to stick with Thrall to the end.

After such efforts put into the war, and into reconstructing the Orcs and their true cultural beliefs, the ex-members of the Mag'har clan, who had chosen to pass through the portal after forcefully, though still willingly in a way, getting corrupted, had reached the state of serenity, and peace, settling in Orgrimmar currently, with Gorlak having the honour of being declared as a War Veteran, waiting for the next conflict to occur, or war to break...
